5/1 You gave the gift of HOPE indeed

Today I was surprised when two ladies, faith and grace, appeared on my doorstep and said they had a gift for me. I had no idea who they were – perhaps angels, or why they were here but invited them in anyway. They explained to me that they wanted to give me me a gift. It was a James Avery necklace with a heart engraved with Kevin‘s name on one side and ‘the heart remembers’ on the other side. I was overtaken by emotion- Thank you ladies- if you are reading this! These last four months since,I lost the love of my life, have been dark times indeed but, these miraculous gestures of kindness make all the difference. Thank you. Through your Love and HOPE I CAN FEEL God’s goodness , strength and PEACE.

5/1 thank you from Britny

This is so incredible and inspiring that I'm at a total loss for words. Stunned, really. Thank you so much for the generosity and this overwhelming feeling of love. I'm sure there are many that are much more deserving so I will be sure to pay it forward. Again, thank you.

Sincerely,
Britny

5/1 He knows our needs even before we ask.

The Bible says “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9
Today my family received a blessing in due season. What a bright spot to our day/week to receive such a beautiful, unexpected gift. Thank you to those who took the time and resources out of their day to deliver a special gift to my family. It is a reminder of Gods grace and love. He knows our needs even before we ask. Thank you 12 Ordinary Women for your kindness and thoughtfulness. May God richly bless each of you!

Eternally greatful, Jen H. & Family ♥️

4/29 It’s the most refreshing idea I have ever even heard of let alone be a recipient of.

Thank you all for the beautiful flowers, cards & the much appreciated prayers. I was so touched & felt humble at all the attention I was getting. I have never in my life felt such a huge influx of prayers & wishes for good health. I want to thank you all. You are all angels in my eyes. I will say prayers for your good health that you can continue your work of uplifting people in need.

It’s the most refreshing idea I have ever even heard of let alone be a recipient of.
Peace & good will to you all.

4/26 We lost a husband and a father butvyou brought us joy.

I recently lost the love of my life to brain cancer. It was a long, hard battle. My husband is now at peace, but his two 11 year old son, and our 8 month old daughter and I are feeling the weight of his death. We miss him so very much. Jon's two boys have been through so much, so it was wonderful to see their faces light up when they saw beautifully decorated bags with wrapped gifts inside sitting on our front porch. It was such a sweet surprise. The gifts were so well suited for each of the kids and for me! What a wonderful blessing and an amazing kindness. God Bless you all! Heidi H.

4/22 Better late than never Thank you.

Fast forward 15 months, it’s been a difficult year to say the least. I handled my cancer diagnosis with strength & grace
It was hard but it was me and I survived it 2x
It’s been a particularly hard year I was going thru a stack of random cards I like to reread if I’m anxious and not fully leaning on the Lord like I should be, I found the website I never noticed it before. So here I am better late than never to say “ thank you “
.
Please continue to pray for my daughter & I
Continue the amazing works of love that you are doing in your community. Big or Small acts of kindness never go unnoticed. Many blessings to all of you ❤️

4/15 Thank you from a bystander watching...

Somehow, Jennifer Woidtke Warren received a gift form you. She did not illiterate as she navigates cancer trails. But as a bystander, watching from afar… Thank you. It was a much needed moment of joy.

It is heart warming to remember and occasionally see kindness to complete strangers. It is inspiring. So, thank you again.

4/14 I am overwhelmed with this beautiful gesture

Good Morning!I am sitting in my dining room, watching snow fall gently on the river behind my home, feeling held by the love of others. Thank you for the gift of your kind words and two generous gift cards to businesses that I appreciate and utilize. Wow! I received your gifts yesterday, April 14, 2018, and I am overwhelmed with this beautiful gesture. It felt very spiritual to me and I am feeling a deep sense of being loved and the gratitude therein. I read about the formation of this group in 2009 and I deeply connect with everything that you are about. In some ways it is how I have chosen to live my life and I feel a bond with you , human to human. "I am because you are; you are because I am" is a loose definition of a Zulu word that I have become aware of in the past several years. In a philosophical sense it means "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity". 12 Ordinary Women- you have brought the fullness of Ubuntu into my life. I am eternally grateful and will continue to pass it on.
