Last Friday, my day ended on a note of awe and inspiration after receiving my gift from Hope and Grace. I offer my sincere gratefulness for your extraordinary gift. Following my recent medical diagnosis, one of my firs priorities is to make lasting memories with my daughter, and your gracious gift will go a long way in making this possible. It is nice to know that I have your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

9/5 Gift after house fire
I received a gift from 12 ordinary women after my house fire. I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the prayers and the gift. May God bless each and every one of you today and always. My family and I can't express how thankful we are.

Kinda like the Wizard of Oz!!!
Twelve ordinary women consists of hundreds, maybe thousands, of women whose hearts have been sparked by being able to give the gift of hope. The website however, is a whole different story...
You know the scene in The Wizard of Oz when they pull the curtain back on the massive Oz operation and there he is, the wizard, just a little guy frantically pushing buttons to keep it all working? Well our website is very much like that...if you pull the curtain back it’s just me, a middle aged woman frantically trying to keep up, to figure out what it means when I get a message to “remove my block and reinstall my list!” WHAT???? 🤯 Honestly sometimes I just throw my hands up and walk away, fingers crossed, praying it will just magically fix itself. So far....no dice, it isn’t fixed, I am completely vexed and you all haven’t heard any of the wonderful things that have happened in the past few weeks because women all over the country see another’s pain or need and have given them a gift of HOPE. I just want you to know that I am here, behind the curtain pushing buttons, reading trouble shooting FAQs, calling tech support, trying to get this website up and running like the great Oz that it can be.
Wish me luck...say a prayer for me...
8/31 What happened next left me speechless.
In June of 2019 the most amazing lady showed up at my front door. What happened next left me speechless. It was one of the kindest surprises in my life. Words can't express how much it was appreciated, in fact I was in shock! I knew it was a God thing through Godly people. What ever the reason this gift was given to me, it was truly a direct blessing from God above. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness!
Blessings,
Roszetta
8/31 My heart was touched this afternoon
I can't say THANK YOU enough. My heart was touched this afternoon. To be honest, as a resturant manager I have people asking for me what feels like every minute of every day. Whether it be staff, a rep, guest, friend of the owners etc. It didnt sink in until the ladies were long gone when I had opportunity to open the envelope. In my day to day I face obstacles and sometimes feel like I'm failing at whatever task that approaches. I was reminded that a friendly gesture just as simple as a smile can go a long way in anyone's day let alone the gift that was given means the world. Servant hearts are the best hearts! Thank you! I will definitely take the opportunity to pay it forward, smile and resurrect hope in another. 🙏❤

8/27 thank you for the gifts for our patients
Thank you so much for the generous gift of Cub and Holiday gift cards for our patients. The women who’ve received them already are so grateful and we are so thankful that you thought of our patients.
It is so sad, but understandable, that the group is dismantling as you have done such great work! We here at the cancer center are talking about doing something extremely similar as you’ve inspired us!
Thanks again!

8/24 a beautiful orchid and a VERY kind gesture inside with a beautiful card
I can not thank you enough for the help you have provided for my little family. The past two years have been quite stressful. My husband was laid off twice in two years, was told he needed a heart transplant three days prior to the first lay-off, thank God the heart transplant is currently on the back burner after he had surgery for an additional thrift lead with his pacemaker/defibrillator, he’s had four heart attacks (age 33, quadruple bypass at 38, then while I was two months pregnant with our daughter and the fourth when she was home alone with him at four years old. He then dealt with debilitating vertigo to where he couldn’t drive, thankfully after dealing with it for a year and seeing an ENT, Neurologist and finally a specialist at UT Southwestern it’s finally under control with medication. I’ve been in pain meds for four years for neck and back and am in need of a full knee replacement. My husbands car finally died, our computer died the next month, and they recently had more layoffs at my office. It’s just been one thing after another.
After receiving a message I met Valerie and Jean. They gave me a beautiful orchid and a VERY kind gesture inside with a beautiful card. With the laundry list of issues we’ve been dealing with I often told Jesus I just didn’t understand what all of this just kept happening and that some things just seem to come so easy to some people. I truly believe that meeting Valerie and Jean was His way of letting me know He is listening. Valerie, Jean and this amazing organization is simply beautiful. The kindness I received from strangers is a wonderful reminder that people truly care and want to make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I’m a big believer in passing the kindness forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💜
