Giving the gift of hope
I received the most beautiful gift bag, note, and gifts today on my porch from y'all. It was so thoughtful and kind and I wanted to express my appreciation. Today has been an especially difficult day for me and it was just like receiving a hug. Lots of guilt, anger and sadness today -- but also striving to find peace in so many good memories. Thank you again very much.

Thank you to whoever blessed me today. The package I received brought tears to my eyes and I welcomed a heart hug from 12 Ordinary Women. My husband was diagnosed with a chronic disease and life has been hard, but God is good and He continues to love me through people like YOU!

Today, I received a beautiful gift from a loving stranger (or a group of them!). It came from 12 Ordinary Women on a day as I had just found out more upsetting news about our fertility journey. The words on the handwritten card were so beautiful, and I was so humbled by them. Thank you to those who reach out to others like me to keep pushing through life's challenges. I am reminded of God's beauty through this thoughtful gift.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and prayers. Your beautiful message brought tears to my eyes, it made me reflect on how incredibly grateful I am to have made it through such a difficult journey over the last year. It was a rough year to say the least, but it made my husband and I grow so much closer in our relationship. The saying “It can only get better from here” came true for us. I had to endure things that I never imagined I would have to in my life. With the support of family, friends, and my husband staying strong, we are now on the right path in life. I am thankful that the storm has passed, now we can focus on bringing our daughter in to a very warm and loving household!

I just received an incredible gift from a lady saying she heard I was going through a difficult time. She is right about that. I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. She looked like an Angel! She Is an Angel! I was speechless. I’ve recovered from my shock and can finally put two words together! I am humbled, grateful and blessed! Words cannot express our gratitude for the amazing monetary gift you gave me and my husband. You truly are gifts from God and so was your perfectly timed gift to us. The amount of medical bills add up as you move through the unknown, to the diagnosis of HFPEF to requiring a heart transplant. A few weeks ago, I received a wonderful basket at my doorstep. I recently lost my little brother, my dad, and my uncle. I was really down. I was numb, really. When i received the gift, I bawled. I’m so touched. I immediately called my mom to tell her about the gift. She had a good cry too. Twelve Ordinary Women put joy in my heart. They reminded me that there are really good, kind hearted, selfless people in this world. Thank you for lifting me in prayer, I’m incredibly touched.

Yesterday, I had the honor, gift and pleasure of meeting "Hope". Whether this is her given name or her Angel name, I am not sure. But as hope always brings us a message from God, this was reinforced yesterday. Hope brought me an unexpected and tremendously kind gift. Upon receiving this gift, my first thought was "How can I help?", "How can I pay this forward?" When I got home and had a quiet moment, emotion poured from me and I sat with God in his presence and with great thanks. I am so grateful to know that I have touched even one person in my life, and incredible gestures like this remind me to continue my path in service of God. So many people are in need and yet I was chosen to receive yesterday. I am so grateful and hope that my life continues to be a reflection of this gratitude. 12 Ordinary Women, whoever you are, THANK YOU. Wow! I’m still in shock! God works in mysterious ways and today he placed not 1 but 12 Guardian Angels over me. Thank you so very much for this kind gesture of prayer, hope, compassion & generosity.
