Giving the gift of hope
I am starting a new job and my son is leaving his school to go to a new school. I thought that the other moms were saying goodbye. Instead, it was your incredible gift. I am just so grateful and appreciative. This kind of support makes big changes in life seem less scary. Thank you.

I was working upstairs this morning at the restaurant I’ve been employed at for the last four years, I had a very busy day and today I’m five months pregnant and some days. Not only am I very emotional but I got a call from my doctor this morning and they want me to come back to Charlotte to see a specialist tomorrow for another ultrasound even though I was there yesterday. They found spots on my baby’s heart that could ultimately mean nothing but potentially mean some thing and I didn’t feel too worried until they called me back today because a few of their ultrasound images weren’t clear exactly clear to rule some risk factors out. This is my second little girl, so I’ve been trying not to stress since we found the spots yesterday. When I walked downstairs to leave my manager handed me a little bag from whomever left me this special special gift that I needed today. I cry while writing this because of any and all days that I needed something like this, today was the day. I thank God and whoever dropped this sweet gift off for me. No matter what, my family and my little girls and I are truly blessed. I needed this reassurance that no matter what God is looking over the both of us. I pray that my little girl is healthy and happy and I know we’re in God’s hands.

This morning, my husband answered the door to a women dropping off a bag for my wife and our family. We were told it was from a group of women who were praying and thinking about us. To our surprise, we opened the card and found money in the card. We are floored by the generosity and thoughtfulness of the gift. We are so thankful that there are people in the community that take care of those in need.
Again, we are so thankful for your kindness. We cannot put into words how grateful we are for the thoughts and prayers.

We were blessed to have a wonderful woman knock on our door and deliver a basket of pure happiness. I've been battling AML (Leukemia) and our family (as many others) have been going through a lot. Beth was at our door on a Sunday morning with a smile on her face and hands full of fun gifts. We appreciate the gifts for each person in our house. All were day brighteners. There were scarves, hats, flowers, gas cards for my college boys, beverages for my husband, and a warm and gorgeous scarf for me! There was a gift basket with fresh fruit and treats from Lunds/Byerly's - all was amazing. We had started a kitchen remodel 4 days before I was diagnosed with cancer, so there were gift cards for dinners - which has been amazing. It has helped us to feel "normal" and loved. Thank you so much! I wish we had names for personal thank you's. Please share our thank you. It makes me want to help others even more! Much, much appreciated, Kris
