Thank you from Elizabethtown KY

I received a knock on the door this past weekend from the 12 Ordinary Women group of Elizabethtown, Ky. On this exact morning, I had prayed to God that I trusted him to take care of our family during this very difficult time. Our 16 year old daughter has been very ill for months. This has caused such an emotional and financial strain on our family. I was greeted at the door by a lady with a gift in hand stating that their group was praying for our family. This was an angel God sent to me just when we needed it the most. I can not thank you enough or express our heartfelt gratitude. May God bless you for your thoughtfulness and kindness!!!

I don't know who you are but wanted to say Thank You, Thank You! What a huge blessing! I lost my job on Feb 23rd and being a single mom I am scared and really praying for direction. I was shocked to come home to this envelope in my mailbox that same week.

Thank for giving my sister hope

I received a phone call from my sister this evening who it going through a difficult time in her life. She lives in Franklin, TN. She was visited by two wonderful women today. She received more than a card and a gift. What she received was the gift of love and hope, and more than that the overhelming presence of God. Thank you for visiting her and the many other women you visit and pray for.

...so powerful...

I have no idea who these two ladies were that came into my office today,, Such kind and sming faces. With a card and gift. Instantly I felt the need to hug these two ladies (angels). I didn't open the card or gift until after they left. I finished up what I was doing at the time. When I read the card & the gift fell out, I began to cry, than the necklace with hope on it, the tears flowed harder... I don't know how or if they knew about my situation. Such kindness from complete strangers is a joy that is so rare these days.... My heart is full of gradituite. To know that there are woman out there (who don't even know me) that care and love me as God does (besides family & close friends) is so powerful, Thank you so much, you have given me hope, strength and love.. there is a light at the end of my tunnel,,,, God Bless you all !!!! God has a special place for woman like you... You have moved me in ways that I can not express fully... With much love and gratitude I say Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

Beyond Surprised!

I am so beyond surprised and thankful. I came home today to find a very nice gift card to a spa all wrapped up with a sweet note in my mail box!!

Hope came today

There was a card waiting for me at lunch today. It was the most beautiful necklace and a sweet card. I am overwhelmed with emotion, , knowing that someone thought of me and wanted to remind me that no matter what, there is hope.. This has been a hard time for me and my family.. and many days I am feeling so sad and hopless. I dont know who you are.. or how brought this wonderful gift to me, but what a huge blessing this was.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and God Bless You! I will wear this witrh a renewed Hope in my heart.

My son

Several weeks ago I received a gift from 12 Ordinarywomen. I do not know who you are but I want to thank you for helping me. It was a nice surprise. Jeff is still in ICU. He was on the 1A list for a few days and then developed fluid on his lungs. So they bumped him down to the 1B until he recovers. He has been in icu since NOv 11. We are at Scott and White in Temple, TX. That is 3 hours from home. Due to his critical condition I have not been home since the first part of December. His condition has resembled a roller coaster. One step forward and then two back. So what a nice surprise it was to get your card with your help for me. What thoughtful women. Thank you.

Touched that you thought of me

I am so unbelievably touched that your group thought of me. I could not believe that you took the time
to come to my house, it was such a nice surprise and it definitely brightened my day! My sisters and I
will be planning a shopping day soon to use the gift card you gave me to forever 21, one of my favorite
places to shop! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your support and generosity.

sometimes in my line of work i question God..

i just wanted to take a moment to tell you what a impact you had on this persons day.. Heather is the mother of a very tiny little baby that i have the honor to be the primary nurse to.. i have taken care of her since the first day she was born.. we do primary nursing in the NICU, this is were we pick up an infant in the begining of their life and take care of them and their family for their jounery through the many days in the NICU.
The other day two of your women droped by the unit and met Heather, gave her a basket and a card.. now you had no idea of knowing what a hard weekend she and her husband had just had, you see we have good days and bad days in the NICU, it was a bad weekend, but we all made it through .. and little Varissa still shows her strength..
acts of kindness are hard to find in these hard times today.. this warmed my heart beyond words.. i did not know you were out there, i did not know anyone like this was out there these days.. sometimes in my line of work i question God.. today.. everything i know of God shines through..
Thank you.. Thank you so much for touching this family, for helping this woman make it through one more day.. know that you are special.. know that there is a place for you .. a place for you in heaven..
