A Minnetonka, MN thank you

I received a call from Jill saying she had a gift bag to deliver. As it turns out, she was a courier, but not in the way I expected. With a smile and a few words, she handed a large gift bag to me, said goodbye and went on her way.
The bag was filled to the brim with snacks and sweets, gift card for a massage and a beautiful note sitting next to not a few 20 dollar bills.
The kindness extended to me in Jesus name still brings a smile to my face. The gifts have enabled us to have a lovely Christmas.
I think I will always marvel at the timing of this gesture, and know that Jesus is alive and well and living in the hearts of 12 ordinary women. My sincere gratitude goes to all of you. May God bless you for your efforts.

What a blessing in Southaven, MS

As I came back to work after being on my lunch break someone told me a lady had dropped off a package for me. In it was a wonderful devotional book, a really cute picture frame and an envelope filled with a wonderful, wonderful blessing!!! God is so GOOD! J He always provides for His children! Working 2 jobs and struggling to make it from paycheck to paycheck and knowing there is not enough time in the day for me to work a 3rd job I’ve had to tell my children we didn’t have the money for a lot of things. My daughter even told me several weeks ago to not worry about buying her anything for Christmas and if I did want to buy something for her she would rather us take the money that I would spend on her use it to buy gifts for other people. And my son who has surrendered to preach has paid his own way through bible college and has never once made me feel bad because I haven’t had the money to help him. God knows our hearts and I am so THANKFUL for this wonderful surprise! Thank you doesn’t seem enough! I am truly grateful! May God Bless you and your family! I would like to start or join a group also to be able to help others like me!

Friday the 13th Thank You

I was surprised this Friday evening, December 13, 2013, by two lovely women who stood on my porch and knew my name and said they cared about me and my family. They brought dinner, a bouquet of flowers, a card and generous gift card, and a Devotional book:-). My husband and four boys were so very excited as was I. I am truly thankful and grateful for this unexpected blessing and would love to become part of this group to bless others as I have been:-) This past year has been difficult with facing layoffs, a foreclosure, and searching for jobs while trying to keep going for our four boys so thank you for reminding me of the true spirit of this season:-) Merry Christmas to the 12 Ordinary Women and everyone else too:-)

You have enriched my life...

What an awesome surprise I found when I went to lock my storm door on Saturday night!!! I found this bag filled with a beautiful candle (I love candles -- they "mask" the fact that my house needs to be cleaned!), 2 sweet cards, & a most generous monetary gift! Wow! Just another example of God's servants being His earthly angels & the "hands & feet of Jesus". I don't know who you are but you will never know how appreciative I am of your prayers & gifts. In fact, I'm going to frame your sweet message & the history behind this awesome organization. (By the way, I'd love to be a member or start another one. I have lots of friends who have the same desire.) I can never repay the people that God has used in my life since October 7th, but I do intend to pass on His love to others. Evansville thank you update

We just wanted you to know that we used your gift this past weekend. Our teenage son, Sam, died from brain cancer on January 2, 2013 and you visited us in March and gave us the wonderful gift of a weekend stay at West Baden along with a very generous gift card. Knowing the holiday season was going to be a difficult time, especially with all of the "last year at this time" memories, we saved the gift. We spent Friday and Saturday night after Thanksgiving Day at the resort. We spent a lot of time outdoors walking in the beautiful fall weather thinking about God's beauty and your heartfelt gift. Thank you Evansville Indiana!

The Evansville Indiana chapter came by my house and gave me a gift card to Target. The help at Christmas time is more helpful than they could ever have dreamed. I have tried to maintain a brave face and strong shoulders as I have journeyed through cancer treatment, but to be very honest I have grown very tired and weary. I am not one to ask for help, but I have really been struggling to remain independent while having limitations from treatment and procedures. I actually reached out to a local agency just days before this contact and received no reply. God answers prayers!
This gift was used toward Santa presents for both my girls! It is very important to me to keep our house as status quo as possible through all of this, but as you can imagine some days it has been very difficult.
Thank you to the Evansville 12 EXTRA Ordinary women that have touched my heart and blessed a 5 and 7 year old with a Merry Christmas! I can not thank you all enough for your kindness.

To let the 12 ordinary women know your not a bit ordinary to me, but your beautiful. You have taken an ordinary day and made it a special blessing to me. I appreciate your love and prayers so much in this unsure life of mine. I'm blessed to have you all. Thank you for taking my life before the Lord in Prayer. He has allowed us to see those prayers answered everyday. I love y'all .

Wow...words cannot express how much your kindness and thoughtfulness are appreciated. The flowers are beautiful and we continue to enjoy them. Our family is ready for the storms to subside and know that with faith we will get through them someday. You are truly special extraordinary women!!!
