The 12 days of Christmas!
I am in shock! We have received Day 1 & 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas - this is so exciting! I couldn't help but just laugh - God is so amazing to give me such delight. The last several years have been very trying and we have been through so much but I have had such special encouragement from my friends. This is so much fun! I feel like a little kid again! Day one is a precious little Christmas tree complete with lights, ornaments and a pretty little silver bow for the top. Day 2 is a Willow Tree Angel! Love it!

A surprise after my first chemo!
How do I begin? When I came home today from my 1st chemo treatment (2nd time around since 2yrs ago) I found a surprise package in my mail box. What you sent is so appreciated and needed. I just wish that I knew who sent you my contact info. so that I can thank them too! What you are doing is truly God sent. God bless you for the blessings you are giving to others. A year ago yesterday, I was "visited" by "12 Ordinary Women". They left a beautiful candle, lovely note, & generous monetary gift at my front door. I live in Germantown, TN and have no idea who these "angels" were but would love for them to know that I still think of them often and have their notes framed in my bedroom so I see them daily. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful spa gift certificate and bottle of wine I received several weeks ago. I could not understand who sent the gifts to me or why I received them; however, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Recently, I was laid off from my job and a month later my father died unexpectedly. I was faced with two life challenging events and was completely distraught with the fact that my life was not the same anymore. I truly believe the lord works in mysterious ways and I must trust in “His” plan for me. He brought me to my knees in effort to get my attention, and again, it worked. Also, he sent me little angels to provide me with a simple act of kindness, which lifted my spirits, and made me smile. Thank goodness they knew that I love to go to the spa for pampering and most of all, drink wine!

November 18th I checked my mail and noticed a package attached to my mailbox - I often order things online because I don't love shopping, but I couldn't place what this might have been - I didn't remember ordering anything recently, so I was really curious about the contents. I rushed in the house to open it. How surprised I was when I opened your generous gift! As I read your card, my eyes filled with tears. I have no way to know if you knew this or not, but that very day marked exactly one month since our sweet baby Enoch was born, and thus exactly one month since his death. Whether you knew it or not, God must have known that I needed some extra encouragement that day. Despite knowing in advance that Enoch would not survive, his death was, and is still difficult for us. I will never get a chance to thank all of you kind, thoughtful women in person, but I wanted to let you know that your prayers and loving words were just what I needed, especially that day, and your gift was above and beyond generous. Thank you for allowing God to use you to show His love and kindness to me and my family as we continue to mourn the loss of our sweet baby boy.
