Thank you Elizabethtown!

I hope this reaches the 12 Ordinary Women of Elizabethtown who brought a very generous gift to my home this morning (12-20-2014). Every single one of you that was involved in arranging this blessing to come my way is definitely an angel in disguise. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was definitely surprised by this and wish I had not been in such a shock and I would have liked to have had the chance to thank you again. When I opened the Willow Tree, I couldn’t help but to think how beautiful and thoughtful this figurine is and it will forever have a special place in my home that will remind me of this special day.
I hope you know that just the day before your arrival, I was having such a difficult day trying to figure out how to provide Christmas gifts for our 5 children. And, just as I was getting my day started today, I had an angel knock on my door and deliver to me the answer to my prayers that I had been searching for.
I want each of you to really know how much this means to my family and what a sigh of relief this has given to me. And especially, the joy it has brought to me all day today. It was a gift definitely in need and could not have arrived at a more perfect time. Now and forever, when I look at my Willow Tree figurine, I will have a smile that reminds me of the blessing you brought to my family and I this Christmas season. And a special thank you also goes out to the person who cared enough to inform the 12 Ordinary Women of Elizabethtown about me .

Bless each and every one of you!!!! Thank you !! May you and your families have a very Merry Christmas !!!

A Brentwood thank you.

I live in Brentwood, Tennessee and my name is Sherry. Labor Day weekend my husband Whit died suddenly of a heart attack. I have 2 teenage girls who were very close to their dad. We were devastated by the loss and because he died at home the process of sorting through his business and dealing with the medical examiner took a very long time. I was very worried and sad during those first few weeks and had shed many tears. One Thursday evening I was sitting alone having a personal devotional and feeling low. The doorbell rang and I hesitated to go because I had been crying. When I opened the door two ladies I didn't know said that I had been blessed by 12 Ordinary Women. They handed me an envelope and turned and walked away. I was dumbfounded and just stood there, I'm sure with my mouth open. They drove away and I half waved goodbye. The envelope had many bills of cash and three necklaces. One for each of us. I just broke down and sobbed at that point. I couldn't believe the kindness of complete strangers. That gesture has stayed with me and I want to sincerely thank whoever was responsible for blessing us at such a low point in our lives. We'll never forget it. It did restore my faith in people because that is what mattered most to me when a Whit died, that people did care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I don't know who you are but we love you!

Thank you for helping us help them

I am the director of Rejoice Ministries in East Nashville, TN. We just received a beautiful card in the mail with a note of encouragement and $120 to purchase Christmas gifts for our students. I'm so thankful for all of you. You bless me more than you know. Your words of encouragement are dear. Thank you. We do have 9 students that an individual plans to purchase gifts for. They will probably not have much of a Christmas without this individuals gift. I plan to put your $120 toward their gifts. What a blessing. Thank you so much. May God bless you and your families richly this Christmas. Patricia Cross

Two strangers showed up

I don't even know how to convey our thanks. To have two strangers show up on your doorstep with so many meals and gift cards was such a surprise and a blessing. A half hour after you left we were still looking at each other and saying, "Wow, did that really happen?" We are so grateful and you have no idea how that helps us. What a blessing you all are! We will always remember this. Thank you!

Thank you!

I am overwhelmed at the thoughtfulness of this gesture. The flowers are beautiful and the necklace and note are treasures. Thank you so very much for your thoughts and prayers. - Traci

I know you're anonymous but know you have blessed us!

We received an amazingly generous and thoughtful gift this afternoon in Shoreview, MN. I was blown away and in shock when the delivery was made. I sure hope you lovely ladies did not read it as ungrateful! I was just caught off guard. It completely warms our hearts to know that your group exists and provides this wonderful gift. The card that was included was absolutely wonderful, our family has been through the ringer this year and knowing that someone cares means so much to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everything you gave us was wonderful, all the ornaments are perfect for our family and the tree, Vinnie was so excited for the tree! He also loves the nativity set and named one of the angels Ellie. Thank you for the necklace with each of my babies birthstones - that means so much to me. Lance and I will use the Redstone giftcard for a date night, we are in need of a night out. And The wrapping, the wrapping was so beautiful, it was a gift in
itself. Thank you for everything!!!!

I know this is anonymous, but I hope whomever nominated our family knows how much we appreciate this and how much it truly warms our hearts.

You ladies are absolutely amazing! We hope to be able to return this favor someday and take someone's breath away the way you did today.

Thank you,
Lance, Judy & Vinnie

Thank you for making my mom feel special!

Thank you for sending such a sweet woman and gift to my door for my mom, who has been going through some hard times with my father. I can't thank ya'll enough for making my mom feel so special, and for praying for her and our family. She is so grateful, and feels very blessed this holiday season.
Thank you so much.
Merry Christmas,
Amy

The 12 days of Christmas!

I am in shock! We have received Day 1 & 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas - this is so exciting! I couldn't help but just laugh - God is so amazing to give me such delight. The last several years have been very trying and we have been through so much but I have had such special encouragement from my friends. This is so much fun! I feel like a little kid again! Day one is a precious little Christmas tree complete with lights, ornaments and a pretty little silver bow for the top. Day 2 is a Willow Tree Angel! Love it!
