Giving the gift of hope
I am in tears… i received a card in the mail from your organization today with a donation to help. I do not know how you got my name or my situation but I thank God and am eternally grateful to this wonderful much needed gift. I cannot say thank you enough. God is GOOD… and you have most definately touched my heart!!

Today I got a surprising visit from 2 women that said they were from 12 ordinary women and had a gift for me. Somehow they knew my name and my situation with battling cancer and that my husband was working a part-time job even though he is a retired school teacher just so that we could make ends meet. I don't know how they knew all of this but I can say that we are very appreciative of the monetary donation and they other gifts I received. My husband and I will forever be grateful. Thank You and God bless you all
12 Ordinary Women doing the EXTRAordinary work of God. How does one thank the unknown givers beyond this site? How can you know that your prayers, feet and hands speak a language of love that is God given. How did you know that I always wanted a Magnolia tree? How did you know that a planting of the the Lord, a visual altar of His continued provision is one the the many themes planted in my heart over the last 21 months of living in the wilderness? How can you know that your monetary gift continues to lead us in cultivating a heart of humility and thankfulness knowing that God is well of aware of our needs and circumstances? Isaiah 61:3c the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. This is how…that He may be glorified in this day. The leading of the Lord in your lives is the miraculous work of God. Thank you for your gifts, your tangible encouragement, your prayers & ministry. You have lifted the ordinary into the supernatural. We continue to be amazed at what God is doing and surprised by the ways the Body of Christ has come alongside the family of a former Pastor dealing with cancer and unemployment. On Thursday, April 16, I received such a surprise! When the doorbell
ring, there stood the man from E-town Florist with a gift (12 beautiful pink
roses). They were perfection tied with a pink ribbon!
I am not accustomed to receiving accolades such as this. I questioned the
man about whether he had the right person. He assured me that he was at the
right house and that I was the right person that the flowers were really for me.
So with humility, I accepted the roses and "The Loving Angel".
To the 12 Ordinary Women, I sincerely thank you for your kindness and
for making me special.
To the 12 Ordinary Women, whoever and wherever you are, I know you
are beautiful body and soul.

Words cannot begin to describe the thanks our family is feeling right now! My husband and I were putting our kids to bed and we heard the doorbell ring. There on out front step were two women and an amazing gift basket. The kids were so excited to see all the fun toys for them and my husband and I were surprised by the generosity of these women. While the kids were looking at their kites and bubbles, we opened the much needed gift cards for groceries and gas. Philippians 4:19 says: My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus...this has been my bible verse on my mirror ever since my husband lost his job almost 4 months ago. I pray everyday knowing that God has a plan for my family. This gift basket was a bright spot in our day. The passes to the arboretum are a wonderful addition and are a true blessing for us. What a wonderful way to rest, find peace, and take a moment to breathe during this time of stress. All I can say is thank you to the women who thought of our family and who made this possible. You all are a true blessing to my family. I hope to someday be able to return the generosity.

On May 4th, 2014 my husband blacked out at the wheel of his car and was
in a near fatal one car accident on his way home from work. Thank God he did not kill or hurt anyone else and he is still with me.
While he was home recuperating from surgery I was visited by two exceptional ordinary women expressing their concern & thoughts
about us as well as a monetary gift.
I am ashamed to say I forgot their names and just now found this site where I can thank them both!!
While I thanked them at the time
it just didn't seem enough! You
can't (or maybe you can) imagine what that meant to both myself & my husband during that most difficult time. You are Angels from God doing His work & we thank you and praise you and will never forget the most special act of kindness!

I was so surprised one day when one of your members handed me a gift bag as I was ringing her out at my cash register. You have no idea what that meant to me. I have a very ill husband. Over the winter he had a stroke and had brain surgery on Christmas Eve. It was a very long cold difficult winter, and those women brought me a ray of sunshine when I needed it most! We finally had our family Christmas celebration on February 12. Thank you so very much! God Bless you and yours,

I received a phone call this morning that came as a sweet reminder of God's faithfulness. By midday, "Joy" and "Hope" stopped by our home, encouraged us, prayed alongside us and blessed us in a way that was very tangible. God moved in a mighty way and His spirit saturated us the rest of the day. We were able to handle today's challenges with renewed faith and restored hope. We don't understand exactly how you found us but we do know that nothing is impossible with God so for that we are grateful! Bless you and the ministry you represent for families like ours here in our area.
