Richfield, MN Thank You!

I live in Richfield, MN. I would love to thank the group that sent me a gift certificate for a time of solitude. My mom died a little over a month ago. I cared for her in our home for the months leading up to her death and have been overwhelmed with taking care things reguarding her since she passed. My way of recovering and re-energizing is to be alone, especially alone with The Lord. The gift of solitude is absolutely the most loving and perfect gift I could ever receive. I will get an extended time alone with The Lord! What could be more healing?! I am in tears as I write, so much so that I can hardly see the screen. May God bless you all ten fold for the love you have shown to me. Carol Oltman

Charlotte, NC Thank you

Thank You Message: Kudos to 12 ordinary women! What a delight to receive such a well stocked basket of goodies. The last eight months has been very stressful and challenging in every way for the Arnold family and then with the loss of my husband and my “best friend” in July was too much to bear. Your basket came at a time that was very helpful in cheering one up. Thanks to 12 Ordinary Women for being so thoughtful and kind in every way. I hope that I can become a part of such a wonderful and giving group. Thanks, Jennie

Humbled in Elk River, MN

I was in my office last week making a phone call to arrange a doctors appointment for my boys so they can go to Camp Kesem, a camp for kids that have a parent with cancer. I was frustrated, as I couldn't get into my primary clinic until well after the camp, so I was desperately trying to search for a doctor that would see them and sign off on their camp permission slip. Finally working things out, I decided I needed to go to Target and relax. When I stepped out of my office, there was a woman waiting for me and she asked for a moment of my time. She had a gift bag and she just asked me to open it. Other people were gathering around. She said she was one of 12 ordinary women that go around and provide support to people who are experiencing hard times. She had heard about me and wanted to provide our family with some love and comfort. She provided us with a list of things to do in the Twin Cities and a generous amount of cash do get it done. I was in disbelief and shock, and honestly overwhelmed. Tears started flowing, people are SOOOOOO good. The amount of love I felt at that moment was so powerful and so overwhelming, it was amazing. Please know that your organization lifted my heart and eased my burden that day and it is something that I will NEVER forget. I already want to create my own group and start paying it forward!

Love,

Julie

I don't think you can be called ‘Ordinary’

I can't tell you how much you brightened my day this morning. The money will pay for a chunk of my drugs, but more importantly just the thought that you are out there makes me smile. I don't think you can be called ‘Ordinary’, you must each be very special in your own way. I can never really repay you for what you did, but please know you brought me peace during a tough time and put a smile on my face. Thank you!

Claudia.

God is alive and well.

I was overwhelmed with so much love when God's messenger came to my door during my husbands illness. Thank you so much for the hope and confirmation that God is alive and well and working overtime. I am reminded that God is in control every day and wins at any spiritual warfare Satan throws my way when I lean on Him. I continue to learn that God will never leave me or forsake me. I shared with many how this group blessed me by showing them the card to read for themselves. My husband brain and heart continues to heal. He survived 6 cardiac arrests and a severe head injury in a week. He truly is a miracle of God. His recovery is beyond what was ever expected. We have been on an interesting journey to say the least.

I can't thank you enough, Collette
