We weren't strangers anymore, we were friends.

I was a little skeptical when I got the first call from Faith. Her her voice was kind and caring,though, so I set a time and place to meet. Then things got worse and worse in my family and I had to keep postponing the meeting. But every time we talked, she was supportive and encouraging, sympathetic and calm. Finally, finally today after, weeks of trying, we got to meet. And we weren't strangers any more - we were friends. I had already felt such care and compassion from her, The gift itself was overwhelming and so needed, and the bonus - getting to meet and visit with Faith in person, was a total God deal. I am grateful beyond words for the kindness and support offered to me and my family at a time when there is such sadness and grief in our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And God bless you, dear exrordinary women -

Flowers and Candy brightened my day

Thank you so very much. My surprise delivery tonight of flowers and candy was completely unexpected, yet wonderful. The flowers are beautiful and the candies are tasty. I have felt alone for so very long. These flowers will remind me that in addition to God, there are folks out there who care. 
I know that God is with me during this difficult time, but knowing that others care makes this part of the journey a little lighter, too. So, thank you very much for putting a warmth into my heart that has been missing for a long time.

A basket of Love

Thank you to the beautiful women who delivered a basket of love to my home yesterday. I am grateful and will never forget theirpresence of touching my heart. The gifts and money will never be forgotten. To the 12 ordinary women I send hugs and my love to all.

I am 1 ordinary woman! Let me just say that I am humbled each and every month by the ladies who meet to lift up our community of women. You are my role models: you possess an abundance of love, inspiration, faith and kindness. It is truly a gift to be a part of this group!
To all of the 12 ordinary women: thank you for what you do and for what you stand for. You are the backbone of the community, the champion of all women! Your voice may be silent, but your message is loud and clear: Women matter. Kindness matters.

To all of the recipients: make no doubt, there is something extraordinary about you! We care about you and we pray for you. We continue to lift you up.

Thank you for touching my soul!

I am so overwhelmed by this beautiful gift! It has been 20 months since our beautiful son suddenly left us. I have to put on a happy face so often now that no one sees the pain behind my mask. Thank you so much for touching my soul. I wrote this a while back and feel led to share it here.
We, who are left here must go on. We must live our lives through until we go Home to be with Jesus and those who have gone before us.
We must go on, walking the path of grief, the path to a different life than we saw before. A new path. One that is paved with shards of glass. The shards of our broken hearts.
We must go on. Our feet will become tough and calloused as we trod on this new path. Each step helps us take the next as we lean on Jesus. The blisters and calluses toughen and it is easier for a while. Then, they peel, making the steps as painful as they were at first. In time, our calloused feet become toughened for longer periods and we are able to move ahead.
We must not just be.
We must go on...
And live.

Thank you so much for the wonderful basket and all the gifts. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. It is people like you who make this much more bearable and be able to focus on the positive outlook. With all the support from people like you and all the prayers - I will make it thru this much easier. I pray all people who have to go thru this get even some of the blessings I have received.

You made a huge difference in my life today!

Today was an extra difficult day since my husband suddenly passed away. We are doing everything we can to walk in faith and believe while trying to accept what has happened.YOU showed up today !! An anonymous gift of love and hope and it meant so much to me.. When I opened the envelope I was moved beyond my understanding. I have never had anyone gift me with anything like this in my entire life. I wanted to be sure you knew what it meant and I hope to be part of this amazing movement with Ordinary women!!

Hello to a thoughtful and generous group of women! Thank you so much for the amazing gift of flowers and a gift card for healing services. Having stage 4 cancer at a relatively young age, I waffle back and forth between feeling that others just don't understand and seem indifferent, and on the opposite end being completely overwhelmed by kindness and generosity. Well this was amazing, kind, thoughtful, and so surprising! I wish I had been more gracious when it was delivered... my dad had just died and I was a little out of sorts when the doorbell rang. Thank you so much! It made my day!! My week!!
