A knock upon my door yesterday left me in tears….
A sweet lady asked if my name was Mary. After responding, "Yes", she handed me a basket filled with goodies and beautiful flowers, and simply said, "You are loved". With that, she turned and walked away. I was in shock. I was in COMPLETE shock when I began sifting through the basket. Incredible kindness and generosity was bestowed upon me, and leaves me feeling undeserving! I don't know who initiated this rare kindness, but I want to say thank you.....thank you....thank you, from the very bottom of my heart!
Thank you for your prayers and the extraordinary things you do!
Dear 12 Ordinary Women,I wanted to thank you for your recognition and support. The beautiful flowers, personal card and gift of money absolutely made our day. We have received many blessings over the last year and are truly grateful and encouraged with each message of love. We did go out to breakfast, just Jason and I, and Jason even thanked me for "making him go." We had a really nice morning - thanks to you!
Thank you for your prayers and the extraordinary things you do! Shanna
Chanhassen MN. Thank you
We just had Wyatt and Jack drop off an unbelievable package for us and our newborn son Madax who has had a very rough start, 2 surgeries already and one at the end of the month. I am just humbled and in tears as I write this as I am just overwhelmed with the generosity of this gift. It is very much appreciated and will be paid forward once things settle down in our lives.
I would love to know who initiated this if possible. I would love to thank them or the group of ladies personally.
Sandra
we are in Chanhassen MN.
Minneapolis thank you!
Dear 12 Ordinary Women,Thank you for the wonderful, gracious gifts and card. I was so touched to be showered with such love and thoughtfulness. I so appreciated it. It's been a big few weeks with our special needs son moving into a group home and my husband and I moving for the third time in 3 years. Our move to Minneapolis has been such a blessing and we are so grateful. I am hopeful I have helped other women along in their respective journeys and have been encouraged that my small gestures have been meaningful to others.
With a grateful heart,
Nancy
...my husband said "I need to show you something...".
Today, I got home from work and my husband said "I need to show you something...". So I followed him in to the kitchen. He told me that a lady that we don't know showed up at our door and gave him this package for me.... I opened this beautifully wrapped package, not having any idea who it was from. The package was full of HOPE! For me! The message said "We think you are extraordinary and just wanted to send you this little gift of hope. Praying for you and your family!" And further inside was a most beautiful necklace with a hope charm! I am still trying to process it all. I know this is the work of Jesus. Today he wanted to tangibly reach in to my house, straight in to my hands, and give me tangible hope. I don't deserve this, I am really stricken by this and in awe. My husband is trying to recover from cancer treatments, and a gift came for ME!?! It means so much to me to be remembered, considered, loved, encouraged, and for someone somewhere to think I am extraordinary. Some seasons are long, right? This is my Jesus in action. HE thinks I am extraordinary. It melts me to receive these words. I am going to rock my necklace, and I will feel loved, I will feel prayed for, and I will cherish the tribe of women that are working to support other women. I love this so much! And I will remember that our God is a God of hope. Oh how I needed this reminder. I will remember Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Thank you so much 12 Ordinary Women. You are so much more than ordinary. With love, Andrea
I am sure more people are more deserving but I appreciate what you did for me.
What a wonderful surprise I had today. I was out in my yard cutting down my grasses when the Bachman's truck pulled up. I was wondering who the lucky person was and it was me! The flowers are absolutely beautiful! And the fragrance is heavenly. The roses are huge and gorgeous. The whole bouquet is stunning. Thank you! I am sure more people are more deserving but I appreciate what you did for me. Thank you for thinking of others and bringing joy to my life.
