6/14 I wish I could hug each one of you

Dear ladies of "12 ordinary women" I'm beyond blessed and overwhelmed to how you have blessed me. One of the ladies dropped off the kind words, card and gift to me within the last hour. God knows and his timing is impeccable so thank you so much I wish I could hug each one of you but I also understand this group for, I,  myself am involved in a group like this so thank you so so much God bless you and your ministry!!!

6/3 Then I realized that I too am an ordinary woman...

Today I was blessed with a visit from an "ordinary woman". I was surprised, stunned, shocked, grateful, and every other emotions one can feel. I burst into tears, as this "ordinary woman" gave me a beautiful hanging geranium plant. She was so kind, and gave me hugs (I think I gave her more!). When she left I discovered the inspirational bible messages among the geraniums, along with several gift cards, food, daily devotion book, and a prayer shawl. At first I didn't realize what I did to deserve such gratitude. Then I realized that I too am an ordinary woman, that someone wanted to brighten my day. I am forever changed by this generous act of kindness.

6/2 I was confused and open the envelop...

Thank you so much. A very nice lady stopped at my work and handed me a envelope and said i was nominated to receive a gift from 12 ordinary women. I was confused and open the envelope to a very nice gift. After a really hard couple of years things were getting a little better and 2 weeks ago my grandson the light of my life who is 12 was diagnosed with cancer. When I seen what the gift was. I went into the bathroom. And cried my eyes out. I have never been so touched by a gift in my life. Thank you so much. Mary

I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for ur kind gifts during such a hard time for me and my family! I am in awe of people like u who do God's works and let his light shine through u! This was a huge help (more than u know) after losing everything to a house fire ( having no homeowners insurance) and spending 2 and half weeks in the hospital away from my children!!!! I can only repay this act of genetousity and kindness by paying it forward to someone in the future! Thank you ladies and God Bless You!!!!!! Misty

I was so puzzled when I opened the door. 5/24

I was so puzzled when I opened the door earlier this month to find two women, both strangers to me, standing on my front porch. They came bearing gifts for my child who is going through a particularly difficult time of life. We were so confused about who they were & why they were delivering all these wonderful gifts that were tailored exactly to my child's interests. Now I understand...thank you so much to these wonderful women & this inspirational organization. We still have an uphill climb, but that climb was made easier by your kindness. Thank you for your gift of hope. Renee

Thank you so much for honoring me with your gifts. You are such a blessing and what a surprise. I would have never imagined the prayers, love and support I would get from the community when I was diagnosed. Keep up your good work. I am sure you are a blessing to many.

You've got mail! 5/16

I received a note from my mailman I had to pick up a box they tried to deliver. I was confused as I had not ordered anything. I went to post office to find a heavy medium size box. I asked who it was from, the return said 12 Ordinary Women. I was so confused. I brought it home and opened with my youngest daughter. Inside were wonderful thoughtful gifts. A spiritual journal book, treats, coffee, coffee mug, blanket, hand made needlepoint prayer towel. Jewelry, lotion and my list goes on. It brought tears to my eyes as I was just saying how tired I am from being sick with breathing and medication. It's 2 years of being sick and I had been losing hope lately of a cure. This has given me hope knowing that a number of people are praying for me and I'm so thankful god has sent these prayers in my direction. Thank you so much to the people who put this together for me and for anyone else that has received this gift. I hope I will be able to help pass on this encouragement to someone too. God bless!

Surprise visit by Hope and Joy!

  I wanted to take this opportunity to thank this group for the surprise visit by two wonderful women of this group (Hope and Joy). They came to visit me in the hospital after a very long journey with my son Alex. Alex was involved in a car accident on June 11, 2016 and had many medical problems including a Traumatic brain injury. Alex and our family had all of our lives change in that single moment. Since that day, we have had the pleasure to witness many miracles in our lives and in the lives of patients we have met. We have been aware of God's presence throughout this long journey toward healing. I truely believe God sent Hope and Joy to visit on a day when my body was tired and my faith was weak. The greatest joy I had was spending time with sisters in Christ who were so willing to take the time to talk with me and learn more about Alex. They also left a wonderful devotional book and a generous monetary gift. I have no words to tell them how much our family needed both of those things at exactly that moment. Please know that your group has touched my family and all of the people I have shared this story with in so many ways. Bless all of you for sharing your love with Alex and our family! Cyndi

Blessing during my cancer battle.

To the 12 Ordinary Women, I was blessed on March 1st with a lovely basket of goodies, gift cards, heartfelt notes and cash from your group. What an amazing surprise!! I have been battling cancer since 2013 with a recent recurrence in 2016. God is using for good, what satan meant for evil. Having cancer has blessed me with a new lense in which to view life. No matter my circumstances I will be joyful in the Lord's mighty purpose for my life. I have enjoyed reading all the notes of encouragement, the blessing prayer for healing and hope. I have donated some of the money given to me to my church. I purchased a pair of leggings at Athleta. I still need to use the Juut gift card. Trying to decide what treatment I want to have. :) My boys loved to share the jelly beans with their youth group at church. Please know that it may have taken me 2 months to write this thank you but I have enjoyed all your gifts and blessings for me. I have had my PET scan mid March and all is clear. I thank my Heavenly Father for that clear scan and for every day that I am given on earth.
