4/24 Franklin TN thank you

The Bible says “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Today my family received a blessing in due season. What a bright spot to our day/week to receive such a beautiful, unexpected gift. Thank you to those who took the time and resources out of their day to deliver a special gift to my family. It is a reminder of Gods grace and love. He knows our needs even before we ask. Thank you 12 Ordinary Women for your kindness and thoughtfulness. May God richly bless each of you!

Eternally greatful, Jen H. & Family ♥️

4/22 Better late than never Thank you.

Fast forward 15 months, it’s been a difficult year to say the least. I handled my cancer diagnosis with strength & grace
It was hard but it was me and I survived it 2x
It’s been a particularly hard year I was going thru a stack of random cards I like to reread if I’m anxious and not fully leaning on the Lord like I should be, I found the website I never noticed it before. So here I am better late than never to say “ thank you “
.
Please continue to pray for my daughter & I
Continue the amazing works of love that you are doing in your community. Big or Small acts of kindness never go unnoticed. Many blessings to all of you ❤️

4/15 Thank you from a bystander watching...

Somehow, Jennifer Woidtke Warren received a gift form you. She did not illiterate as she navigates cancer trails. But as a bystander, watching from afar… Thank you. It was a much needed moment of joy.

It is heart warming to remember and occasionally see kindness to complete strangers. It is inspiring. So, thank you again.

4/14 I am overwhelmed with this beautiful gesture

Good Morning!I am sitting in my dining room, watching snow fall gently on the river behind my home, feeling held by the love of others. Thank you for the gift of your kind words and two generous gift cards to businesses that I appreciate and utilize. Wow! I received your gifts yesterday, April 14, 2018, and I am overwhelmed with this beautiful gesture. It felt very spiritual to me and I am feeling a deep sense of being loved and the gratitude therein. I read about the formation of this group in 2009 and I deeply connect with everything that you are about. In some ways it is how I have chosen to live my life and I feel a bond with you , human to human. "I am because you are; you are because I am" is a loose definition of a Zulu word that I have become aware of in the past several years. In a philosophical sense it means "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity". 12 Ordinary Women- you have brought the fullness of Ubuntu into my life. I am eternally grateful and will continue to pass it on.

4/10 Thank you

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the flowers and generous gift of money! I am so thankful for whomever included me in their thoughts and prayers and considered me for this gift. I would love to be involved in helping to make other women feel as special as you have made me feel. If there is ever a chance for me to give back please let me know.... you obviously know how to find me :) Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Much love,
Erika

4/6 Thank you for helping our Mother’s Day Tea

What a thrill to receive a visit from "Grace One" and "Grace Two" this afternoon! It is such an affirmation and encouragement to receive this award from 12 Ordinary Women. As of today's date there are almost 150 bereaved mothers in this area who have received invitations to an upcoming Mothers Day Tea. Your monetary offering will be used to serve these women on that day; honoring them, celebrating the lives of their children, gifting them with a beautiful afternoon filled with music, delicacies, healing resources, and (most importantly) a message of hope. Thank you especially to whomever presented this cause to your group. Your support of this event will remind these hurting moms that someone does know and care deeply about their loss.

4/2 There are so many more that are deserving of this, yet you chose me.

Your gift today was such an unexpected blessing. I didn't know that organizations like this exist, but am completely overwhelmed at the compassion and heart of complete strangers and the impact you make on people's lives. There are so many more that are deserving of this, yet you chose me. It truly inspires me to lend a helping hand or helping heart when I am able to so. Again, you have truly blessed me today.

Cindy

3/31 I read about you in the paper, now we find ourselves recipients!!!

I read about 12 Ordinary Women in the newspaper and thought it was a beautiful concept. Now we find ourselves the recipients of your generous gift and couldn't be more thankful.

My healthy and active husband suffered a hemorrhagic stroke from a fall while he was reffing a hockey game in December. His journey through ICU, two hospitals and rehabilitative transitional care has been long, but good as he has relearned to walk, swallow, and regain normal sensation in his hands and feet. Although he still has a ways to go cognitively, he is physically doing better sooner than expected and we are grateful. However, his three part-time jobs don't provide any sick or disability benefits and money is very tight. Your gift of food and encouraging words are so appreciated! Thank you very much!

3/28 Thank you from Marianela

Marianela
