Giving the gift of hope
I just received an incredible gift from a lady saying she heard I was going through a difficult time. She is right about that. I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. She looked like an Angel! She Is an Angel! I was speechless. I’ve recovered from my shock and can finally put two words together! I am humbled, grateful and blessed! Thank you 12 ordinary women for the boost I needed!

The amount of medical bills add up as you move through the unknown, to the diagnosis of HFPEF to requiring a heart transplant. A few weeks ago, I received a wonderful basket at my doorstep. I recently lost my little brother, my dad, and my uncle. I was really down. I was numb, really. When i received the gift, I bawled. I’m so touched. I immediately called my mom to tell her about the gift. She had a good cry too. Twelve Ordinary Women put joy in my heart. They reminded me that there are really good, kind hearted, selfless people in this world. Thank you for lifting me in prayer, I’m incredibly touched.

Yesterday, I had the honor, gift and pleasure of meeting "Hope". Whether this is her given name or her Angel name, I am not sure. But as hope always brings us a message from God, this was reinforced yesterday. Hope brought me an unexpected and tremendously kind gift. Upon receiving this gift, my first thought was "How can I help?", "How can I pay this forward?" When I got home and had a quiet moment, emotion poured from me and I sat with God in his presence and with great thanks. I am so grateful to know that I have touched even one person in my life, and incredible gestures like this remind me to continue my path in service of God. So many people are in need and yet I was chosen to receive yesterday. I am so grateful and hope that my life continues to be a reflection of this gratitude. 12 Ordinary Women, whoever you are, THANK YOU. I am so grateful and I am so humbled by your loving gifts, kindness, generosity, and mission.

Wow! I’m still in shock! God works in mysterious ways and today he placed not 1 but 12 Guardian Angels over me. Thank you so very much for this kind gesture of prayer, hope, compassion & generosity. I cannot thank you enough for the lovely and thoughtful gift delivered to me yesterday. Your kindness left me speechless.
It also filled me with awe and wonder to be a recipient of God's love and undeserved blessing from two beautiful ladies. And the timing! The night before I spent a couple hours listening to an alcoholic family member rage on and on about the treatment they received from medical personnel. Your gift pulled me back up from my little pity party and helped me refocus on others.

Today I was sitting at work trying to adjust to yet another chronic health issue my rheumatologist had just diagnosed me with yesterday . The past few years I have been experiencing steadily decreasing physical strength and mobility affecting even more than it has before my ability to work and function on a daily basis. Anyway in walks a lady I didn't know asking me if I am Jamie Hansen and she hands me an envelope with a card and gift. I was completely taken back and after reading the card started crying like a hot mess. I am so incredibly overwhelmed by this outreach of love and support and have no idea who these wonderful people are and how they know of me and my situation. At the end of a particularly rough day, my son Jamie (who is battling cancer) came home to a package from you all. The kindness shared couldn’t have arrived at a better time! It shifted the day and reminded us all that we are not alone and being held in care and love. Thank you for following your call, we are so grateful for your work in the world!

The brown blanket, scented wax cubes, the awesome glass holder for the cubes, Chicken Soup for the soul book, and the Happy Thoughts journal.I hope I didn't leave anything out.
