Thank you for the flowers.

On Friday, Oct 25, 2013, a HUGE bouquet of gorgeous flowers was delivered to me. The card said it was from "12 Ordinary Women", but I wanted to know who was really behind this beautiful gift. When I called the florist, they told me that a man named "Joe" came in and paid for it but they had no other information. I want to thank whoever sent these lovely flowers, but don't know how other than through this website.

I have pancreatic cancer, and am enjoying life as much, or even more than I ever have. Each day is a special GIFT from God. Your flowers are a reminder of that gift and than someone loves me, and so does God me. I am certain that prayers were asked to go with them and with prayer and faith, there is HOPE. No matter what happens, God has me ... and you "ordinary women" ... in the palm of His hand and He holds our future. He desires only good for us. Heaven is a wonderful future and I'm looking forward to it, but He may also choose to let me stay with my family a little while longer. Either way I am blessed.

God bless you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

HOPE came to see me!

Such simple words, thank you, doesn't seem big enough to express how I feel right now. I dont even know what to say or where to start. I was not expecting to receive such a tremendous blessing today. Yesterday my co-worker told me that while I was out a lady came by to see me by the name of Hope. I was so puzzled by this as I do not know anyone by that name. When I got to work today, he told me that Hope had come by again and this time left a card for me. I was bummed that I didn't get to see who this Hope was in person and very curious to what the card said. Upon opening the card I was floored to see the 12 gift cards enclosed. Tears filled my eyes as I sat there stunned reading the message of Hope. Who are these 12 women, how did they know about me and my situation, why me, and so on and so forth? When you are blessed so deeply and unexpectedly, you question your worthiness. I was reminded of GRACE. Isn't it exactly that, when you get something you dont necessarily deserve because you are so loved? God used you 12 women to bless me beyond ways you could imagine today. Most importantly you reminded me of God's grace and his blessings in my life. You were His hands and feet. You showed His love for me. I didn't pray for this, I didn't ask God to do this but He knew exactly what was needed for me, my husband and our family in this very moment. I am so humbled right now that I dont even know what else to say. Again, thank you just doesn't seem big enough. I pray that I can take this blessing and use it to bless others.

Lastly, at first I was bummed that I didn't get to meet this guardian angel that visited my office today. But then I thought about it some more. Now I love that I wasn't actually here when 'Hope' came by to see me. I think it was meant to be that way. My hope comes from the Lord right? So I need to see His face when I think of this gift. :)

Humbled, truly blessed, in awe...

Words Are Not Enough to Thank You...in Franklin,TN

I can hardly see through my tears enough to type...

I'm still in shock,

but I want to thank you, whoever you precious 12 ordinary women are....

... for the INCREDIBLE blessing.

A card filled with such a generous gift, the cross bookmark and beautiful Hope necklace.

The words on the card made me weep even more....

I need this HOPE.
I've needed to feel that I'm braver and stronger and smarter.

I was just returning from Saddle Up where my daughter, who has spina bifida and uses a wheelchair, does riding therapy. She heard me crying and saying "oh, dear Lord!" and thought something was wrong! She said, "Mom, that really is a gift from God!"

Yes. YOU 12 "UN-ordinary" women brought me a precious gift from God tonight.

This single mom thanks you with a humble and grateful heart. Words are not enough.

Bless each of you, one hundred fold.

With love, as a sister,

Renee

Thank you for my angel basket

I came home tonight and found a wonderful necklace and a gift certificate to Urbana cityspa and tea garden for me and my daughter in law. My daughter in laws' necklace is an angel. We have needed an angel to watch over Miss Libby, my 3 year old granddaughter who is fighting and winning the fight against a very aggressive form of leukemia. What a wonderful surprise for us today. I have felt the presence of God in so many ways today, but this really was wonderful. Thank you to the 12 Ordinary women who brought this to me.

Thank you for my angel basket

I cannot express how wonderful it was to go to school today and find a beautiful basket of plants, "Jesus Calling" book and a precious angel necklace waiting for me! Thank you so much for being angels yourselves! God has held us together and blessed us with His love throughout our struggles and we are thankfully feeling his presence constantly! You are another sign of God's love--Thank you!

Sincerely,
Fran W

Sunshine thank you in Evansville!

PS. My 'sunshine' is hanging next to my side of the bed. No more cloudy days!

So touched!

I received your gifts of hope and care today in a beautiful little bag. I could not figure out why the woman delivering it would not introduce herself. My daughter was intrigued and kept trying to open the bag for me. As I opened each envelope and read the notes and took out the beautiful necklace, tears filled my eyes. I understood that whoever had this delivered to me was aware that our 22 year old son is dealing with cancer and our family is really struggling to come to grips with that. My mom's heart seems to break daily for him. How sweet and generous for someone to think of me with this gesture. I caught myself touching the necklace today and thinking the word "Hope" that is engraved on the little charm. And I cannot wait to use mani/pedi gift before I go to a family wedding next weekend! Whoever you are, I feel like God blew me a kiss today through your thoughtfulness...a sweet reminder that He is right here...still! I LOVE the concept of this group. I am from Franklin, TN and was so excited to see that it started right here in my town! This is awesome, ladies! You are anything but ordinary! Thank you! M
