Nashville thank you

My husband, John, and I live in Nashville, TN and both work two jobs. He is a is a sound engineer at a recording studio and drives for Uber and I am the Clinical Administrative Director of a therapy practice and work at a hotel. John was recently injured and we spent two nights at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He had to have surgery and was fitted with a plate and 9 screws in his right ankle. John has been unable to walk without crutches, drive a car, or work at the recording studio since early November. The doctors tell us that he will have to continue to heal into January before he can begin physical therapy to start walking. Since the injury, I've picked up extra shifts at the hotel and work about 60-70 hours per week. Things have certainly been “tighter,” but we've accepted this season as a challenge and opportunity for ourselves to work hard, both in our marriage and in life. We know that God will provide and we are being strengthened. Yesterday, I received an amazing gift that was hand-delivered to my front door from three wonderful women. A beautiful necklace was gifted as well as a monetary gift that I am absolutely speechless about. I feel so uplifted by this anonymous act of kindness and don't know how to thank you for this amazing gift. We have been given a renewed sense of hope and a heightened sense of gratefulness. Thank you, to whomever thought of us, for making our Christmas so special and reminding us that we are blessed beyond measure.

With Love,

Stephanie

Minneapolis thank you

Dear friends, (whoever you are!) Thank you for the wonderful gift delivered to my door today! The Lord has been so very good to us. On Nov 19th my daughter attempted to take her own life. What most people did not know is that my daughter suffered greatly from depression. We later found out that she had passed away for an hour. Her heart developed something called “schemia” which means part of her heart died. We talked recently with a friend that is a trauma surgeon and he said that it would have been medically impossible to restart her heart.....but it did. Her heart started again. We were told she would be a paralytic because of damaging her C1 vertebrae, but she is able to walk. We were told from the MRI's and EEG's that she only had minimal brain activity....but she talks, and her personality is there! The Lord only gave me one passage in a month of being at the hospital. It was PS 91, :3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. So thankful the Lord did a miracle. He raised my daughter from the dead. He moved the mountain, and he is healing her from the crown of her head…to the soles of her feet. Thank you all and thank you most to my Lord and saviour. Molly from Minneapolis, MN

Minnetonka thank you.

At a time in my life where I have felt so alone, where I wasn't sure I was going to be able to muster the strength to get through the holiday season, two beautiful women just came to my door and gave me a beautiful package that has literally brought me to tears. It is so hard to express how this makes me feel and fills my heart with such love and hope. I don't feel so alone. Thank you so much.

You encouraged and blessed our family

Angie and I would like to thank your organization for the extremely generous gifts you brought our family for Christmas.

The gifts had been dropped off a week or so earlier by a very warm and gracious women who chose to remain anonymous. We waited on opening the gifts from you until we brought our son Luke hope from the hospital after an extended hospital stay. Thanks be to God we brought him home on Dec 23rd and it was such a fun celebration of his homecoming opening some pre-Christmas gifts as a family.

All the kids including Luke were super excited about their gits. Someone did a great job sizing clothes and all were excited. I was just looking at the devotional “Built to Last” on the book of James and it's great. Our oldest Caleb and I are planning on going through it together and I'm excited to about it. The gift cards were a added blessing to me as I was scrambling to do last minute shopping after getting Luke home. I was able to buy some bonus gifts for the kids using the some of the cards along with shopping for our special Christmas meal which we celebrated as a family on Christmas Eve.

We're grateful for your organization being one of those used by God to encourage and bless us. Thank You!. We continue to marvel at Gods goodness in taking care of us. He has sustained out family with His Goodness and He is working in Luke bring him through to total Victory.

Blessings for Sophie

Hebrews 13:1-2 1 Keep on loving each other as brothers. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

When Faith and Joy walked into Sophie's hospital room on Friday, I knew immediately by their smiles and warm hearts they were angels sent by God. My husband and I are humbled by your generosity and help for our sweet Sophie. We can not thank you wonderful women of God enough for thinking of us and blessing us so richly! You truly are the hands and feet of Jesus. I hope that you know that you touched all that were in Sophie's room at the time and restored all of our faith that there are still amazing Godly people in such a corrupt world. Word of you 12 angels has spread quickly through this hospital and God is smiling down on all of you for spreading his Word. May all of you be blessed as you have blessed us. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. When Sophie is better, I look forward to going out and doing the Lord's work as you Christian women are doing!

An Extra-ordinary gift

I want to express how thankful I am to have received a gift of money from the 12 ordinarywomen. It was the first time I had heard of them. It was such a surprise and it was an extraordinary gift. The coming of Christmas had been hard to face because of the desire to give gifts and wanting to have a ham for when our daughter and her husband come for a few days. GOD has been so good to us after my husband lost his job unexpectantly about 17 months ago. It has been a time of adjustment in several areas but also a time of growing in faith and seeing God working in so many unexpected way. This gift has made some gifts possible and we will be having ham for Christmas dinner. Thanks for making things not so strained and for the special gift given from a wonderful organization.
