Nashville, TN – Carpenter's Square the 12 Ordinary Women group Thank You

Dearest Friends Tucked in my Bible I found a special gift. As our Life Skills classes began this afternoon an envelope fell from my Bible. Some special “ordinary lady” is blessing another struggling woman here at Carpenter's Square.

We sincerely thank you for being that special blessing that we all need. I promise to pass this blessing along. It has been a blessing to me and I will allow it to bless others as well!!!!

Sincerely --Thank You!! Cindy

Thank you from Sharing and Caring Hands

Hello! My name is Nina from Sharing and Caring Hands.

Thank you so much for your donation. Mary Jo was able to give it to a family who was very much in need. This family has 8 children so this was very much appreciated. The following message is from them:

“Thank you very much, we are so grateful. It will help us out so much.” – E V and family

We can’t thank you enough!

God Bless,

Nina

Gratitude from Long Lake, MN

To the women who dropped off the lovely, overwhelmingly generous basket of gifts to our home in Long Lake, MN (for the family of 6 that was staying with us and our family of 7), THANK YOU!!! It was with confusion and deep sadness that I received the basket, not knowing what to say or how to respond to the woman who dropped it off. Such kindness and love she offered. How does one say thank you to a stranger for loving on us in such a tangible and generous way, and really receive such an amazing gift with joy when the sad truth is that it got to be way too hard to have our friends living with us, so we had to kick them out last week. :( We will definitely try to pass along the generous gifts to them…maybe it will open a door for some forgiveness and healing on all of our parts. Thank you to whomever passed our story along to you and my sincerest apologies that the most recent part of our story was probably unknown to this person/people. What a wonderful group to be a part of. Thank you for reaching out to our families! Trusting the Lord with all of this, Sarah

I just missed you!

I’m blown away with a visit from 2 women that delivered a necklace, a lovely orchid, a generous gift card and a lovely note.
Of Course, I stepped out for 20 minutes to Trader Joe’s and missed you.
I feel terrible I wasn’t here to hug you and thank you.
Please let me know who you are so I can thank you personally.
Much love,
J C

You inspire hope through anonymous thoughtful gifts

I was astonished by your personal presence and precious gifts you brought to me, my daughter Chelsey, son in-law Dave, and Becca's father Jeff. It is heart warming to know people that want to help mend broken hearts and inspire hope through anonymous thoughtful gifts. I do desire to know if those gracious enough to give these precious gifts have suffered losses similar to our own.

The monogrammed necklace is so lovely, and the plush lambs wool blanket is so comforting to snuggle into:)

Thank you for your heartfelt gifts and generosity. Your timing of giving the gifts at 6 months following the loss of our daughter and her twin babies was comforting and heartwarming. Most support, kind words, actions and prayers are but few now but the heart still aches for our beloved daughter and babies.

Love to all

Pam

Red Wing, MN thank you

On a recent Saturday morning, my doorbell rang at my home in Red Wing, MN. I was on my way to my parents house where my Dad was fighting a losing battle with ALS. When they introduced themselves and explained the purpose of their visit, I was in disbelief. I was touched by their kind and caring words, the card of encouragement, and their gift to me. I was not familiar with 12 Ordinary Women or their mission. I have no idea who in my circle of family and friends would have thought to mention my name to this group of ordinary women who deliver extraordinary gifts of hope, love and caring to an ordinary girl like me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You appeared on my door step when my heart was heavy, I was tired, sad and broken and you reminded me that this world is filled with people who care and spread joy and hope to those in times of need. I am so grateful. Blessings to you all.

We can definetly feel the love in our community.

This thank you is for a group of amazing women in Minnesota. I live in Edina. I don't know if that's where they are located though? Wow! I just wanted to thank this group for the more than generous contribution and beautiful blanket. We appreciate it more than you know. Thank you for all the continued prayers. We can definetly feel the love in our community. Thank you so much

How this kindness has touched me

Wow,I have been thinking of putting into words this testimony and how this kindness has touched me. It is about a long story,
a deep valley....you stepped into that valley with the kind, gentle caring hands of Christ.
What timing, yes their is change in the air. that 8 1/2 year valley doesn't have that suffocating loss it use to.
Hope is spring up. Where are my constant companions...Sorrow and Suffering?
Oh they have become Joy and Peace, amazing!
The exact timing of your most generous gift was so beautiful, the attentiveness of such a personal Savior...
it has touched my heart deeply. He is saying relax, I've got this....trust me, and so I will.
As tears are streaming down my face i am thinking of the song we sang at church this Sunday and the words-
Your a good, good Father and i am loved by you...it's who I am.

So grateful,

Patty

Mystery basket of crafting items...

I wanted to write to let you know what a wonderful, mystery surprise basket of “Crafting Items” arrived at our house last week. My husband accepted the gift for me when I was out. When I asked him where it came from, he said he didn't know who the lady was that brought it, but he assumed that I knew....but of course I didn't and couldn't figure it out.

I was certainly overwhelmed when I read the special note made out to me from "12 Ordinary Women"…a group I had never heard of, but was able to learn about on the Web Site. What a unique group of women!

I feel honored and blessed to be thought of in this touching way. Losing our daughter to cancer 2 years ago was and is so difficult to handle, but I do find that keeping busy with crafting and especially making cards to share with others is very helpful. Many items in the basket and the Michaels Craft gift card will certainly help me continue to maybe put a smile on the faces of those I send cards to.

Thank you again for this wonderful surprise gift and know that it truly made my day.

Sincerely, Carol L.
