12/26 If I could fly!!!

If I could fly I would fly in the sky, I would fly so high that I would touch the stars and the moon, and I would float like a balloon, and when I land I would land in the sand, and all my friends would give me a hand.TIM
I just wanna say THANK YOU!!! 2 wonderful ladies came to my job on Christmas Eve and really touched my heart with the gift they gave me in that white envelope I was really shocked when they asked for me. Just wanna say keep soaring and touching hearts because y'all really touched mine that day and whenever y'all decide to land 12 Ordinary Women will deserve a standing ovation. MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!

12/25 You blessed our 6 little lambs.

To say that our house with six of God's lambs was blessed by your random act of kindness would be an understatement. Every day you brought my wife to tears of happiness and gratitude. The lambs that live with us were so excited to see the gifts, and hear the scripture attached to it. Thank you so much for being God's hands and feet to bring us joy, and feel the humility of Gods work through another sister. I am personally humbled by your ministry that you shared with us.

12/20 Texas Thank you!

I am speechless but overwhelmed with joy and glee. I was taken back a minute when this lovely lady showed up today and handed me a simple white envelope. 12/20 Happy tears???

When I got home last night, my husband met me in the garage to share: "You are going to cry when you come inside". My first question was: "Happy tears or sad tears?" because we've had our fair share of both recently. "Happy", he said. When I walked in, he explained that two women - strangers to him - had personally delivered gifts for our family to our house a couple hours prior. He was right, I did cry. A beautiful card, a gift basket, a gift bag filled with toys for our toddler, and a beautiful miniature Christmas tree.

All the gifts appeared to be hand-selected for us. A huge surprise and much needed reminder that God is with us all the time. Christmastime will always be bittersweet for our family, as we relive our daughter's adverse prenatal diagnosis, birth, spending the holidays at the hospital three years ago, and, as we continue to juggle the unknowns about our daughter's prognosis. This holiday season (and the last couple of months) have been particularly stressful for us with some unexpected challenges and big transitions. Thank you "12 Ordinary Women" for your thoughtfulness and generosity!! We have a feeling you know us (and our little one) very well... Thank you for reminding us we are not alone in this journey!!!

12/19 Thank you so much

I hope this is the right email to send a thank you. Wanted to thank you so, so much for your generosity. I was honestly shocked by the huge basket of thoughtful gifts and gift cards I was blessed with yesterday after being nominated by my amazing therapist. I'm the single mom of two special needs kids and I've been struggling with money, with loneliness, with exhaustion, and with feeling invisible for a long time. Your gift made me feel like I had someone on my side; like someone actually SAW me, and for a moment in my life, I felt completely loved by people who don't even know me; like I actually matter. Long after the gift cards are spent, the journals are written in, the lotions and lip balms are used, I will still have that gift to carry with me always; the gift of knowing there are people in this world who still care and still love their neighbors as themselves and want nothing in return.  I promise to pay it forward when I can and hopefully make another person feel like they are loved and that they matter too.

12/19 ​I just received the best gift I could ever hope for...

I just received the best gift I could ever hope for... a reminder of God’s presence in my life. It has been a challenging year but I am humbled by all of the love I’ve felt and strength I’ve found in God. I will continue to persevere knowing I am not alone.
