Giving the gift of hope
Thank you for the wonderful gift basket. This morning I drove Carol to HCMC Clinic to meet with surgeon and she decided to be admitted to hospital to proceed with leg amputation. She and I will appreciate your kindness over many weeks of recovery. Bless you all for the work you do.

12 Ordinary Women-
I am not sure where to start. I am so blessed beyond belief and I thank you, as a group, for blessing deserving women. I can't believe I am amongst these wonderful women you recognize. Today, I was surprised in my classroom with a beautiful plant, tons of snacks for my kids, homemade cookies, and a beautiful card with money to put towards my students' needs and our classroom needs. I am still in shock. What a beautiful surprise and one that will never leave me. Thank you for creating this beautiful memory for me to have. There are so many deserving teachers in this world that I am trying to grasp and smile at the fact that I am one of them. Your kindness serves as a reminder to keep up the great work I am doing and that everything I am doing is just right for our future generation. I thank you for recognizing me and my efforts in the classroom. Your group is absolutely phenomenal. As I told my husband, there is no way the words, "thank you," truly capture my thanks for your surprise and gifts. I am so excited to pass along the good and submit a nomination for someone I know who deserves this beautiful work from 12 Ordinary Women. Please, pass along this thanks to the wonderful women who did all the work behind my surprise. I truly thank them. God is good and I love seeing His work shine through others. My husband and I are astounded and overwhelmed by the goodness and grace poured out over us this morning! Tim and Julie (I'm so sorry I wasn't available to give you both a hug!) handed my husband a devotion book and a note containing a gift for us. The words to us were written straight from the heart of God. Our family's journey right now is unknown to us, but we are trusting God for next steps and His Provision. Today's unexpected gift was exactly what our hearts needed. His manna poured out this day. . My husband and I sat and prayed, tears pouring down our cheeks, amazed at the tangible gift so clearly demonstrating the lavish love of our God. He sees. He hears. He knows. And as the note said, "He IS faithful and we can trust Him in every circumstance of life."Thank you, thank you 12 Ordinary Women for being OUR vessel of healing and hope this day!

I was the lucky and surprised and touched and moved recipient of a lovely gift basket from you. I would like to thank you for the sweet gesture and for "seeing" me. We are in the middle of a long and hard battle with my sister and pancreatic cancer. Our family has rallied together and we all have our roles as we navigate this "new normal." While I would do everything with out a nod of praise, to be recognized brought me to tears because there are days when I know what I am doing or trying to do is not enough. But I will continue to do what I can for her each and everyday.
I am not sure how your "extra" ordinary group works, but I would like to help or volunteer in some way. The way you all made me feel was amazing, and I'd like to be a part of making someone else feel that same way in the face of despair or the trials of life.
If there is a way to volunteer, please let me know, if not, please accept my heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

To the 12 ordinary women of Isanti County: First of all you are not ordinary, your extraordinary!! I was so thrilled when the florist delivered the GORGEOUS bouquet 💐 of flowers....THANK YOU SO MUCH....I love them so much and to think they came anonymously ♥️♥️. When I opened the card , I found the real gift and blessing, the gift of money is so generous!! Maybe I will use it to go tap dancing !! 🥿 you never know, thank you 🙂. The real gift is the love, support , generosity and prayers from each one of you, you have no idea how comforting it is to know you (12 Ordinary Women) are willing to go on this journey with me. We could never express the joy we experienced with the visit we received from two ladies with 12 Ordinary Women. They lifted our spirits with their cheer and amazing gifts. We were completely shocked and so humbled to be honored with being selected. We suffered a terrible shock after I was attacked by dogs, cracked my back, and our 12 year old dog was killed. We will forever remember your kindness and concern. Your organization spreads hope where it has been stretched. Thank you and God bless your cause.

I have to start by saying thank you! What y’all do by simply sending an encouraging note is amazing! I worked late last night and was pretty tired this morning when I checked the mail. I opened your letter and was brought to tears! My recent engagement has been such a blessing but bringing together a blended family has its challenges. Your letter was uplifting and so thoughtful! It fills my heart to know there are people out there praying for us, cheering us on, lifting Rich and I up as we figure this thing out. He and I read it together and I cannot tell you how happy it made us. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Whoever you wonderful women are, keep it up! Because you’re kindness and grace is appreciated more than you know! God bless you all!
