Thank you to the 12 Ordinary Women of Evansville Indiana Chapter...

Late this afternoon while setting my son up for his physical therapy session, the door bell rang. Expecting his therapist, I was completely thrown off guard by two attractive, well dressed women smiling brightly at me.
I initially thought I had forgotten an appointment but, quickly learned I was to receive a gift from women I don't know, from an organization that I had not heard of. A day at the spa!!!!
How delightful they were and what a wonderful end to a busy day.
After reading the story of this organization and page after page of blogs, I can't help but be amazed at the generosity and kindness they have given to so many. Not only here in our town but, all over the country.

Thank you to whoever you are. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated and I hope that I can "Pay It Forward"... What a terrific group you are!

Sincerely,
Jill

It had been a particularly hard week...

Thank you for the beautiful gift!
Message: This morning three beautiful, smiling women showed up at my door. They did not tell me their names, but I could almost feel the warmth coming from them. They brought me a very special gift and a wonderful note. I had been having a particularly hard week. My amazing son Jason was killed last year, and it has been a long hard journey, which has seemed to have crash landed lately.
In the beginning there are people around you everywhere, and then slowly they fade off and need to get back to their lives, and eventually you feel as if everyone has forgotten him and you. You feel like the world thinks that you are ok now, and that your life is back to normal. As you learn to live your "new" normal, there are times that you feel that even God has forgotten you.
Knowing that he sent me these special angels at just the right time, lets me know that he hasn't forgotten me and neither have some very special people in this world. Thank you to the 12 ordinary women for answering God's call to send me a special lift. It did make me cry, tears of sadness and joy, but it was such a special gift from God's hands to yours, to mine.
Thank you so much, it will always be special to me.

Karen

thank you

Dear Wonderful Women,

Ataia & I thank you so much for your generous offering.

We remain heartsick over our personal loss but even more so when we realize the
extent of this problem. We are compelled to make a difference.

We thank you all... Bless you all.. You've done more than you'll ever know for us.

We just want to keep you informed of what we're doing so as to shine a bright light
on a dark subject. If you feel moved to do so, maybe you could forward one
of these flyers to others who might want to join us on this journey?

Ataia is graduating from Brentwood high on May 25 and Granite City offered to contribute 10% of all sales on that day. Plus Ataia is going to participate in the midnight walk in DC "out of the darkness" on June 1 & 2...

Thank you again for your compassion.

Grace & Blessings always,

Sandra

It's a wonderful thing to encourage someone...

My heart overflows with emotion everytime I look at your card and the willow tree angel. I had not heard of this wonderful ministry before this past Sunday, that's when I received a call that someone was at my front door. She didn't give me her name, but she gave me such encouragement, she told me that you all were praying for me, she even shared tears with me. I know that I cried for at least 20 minutes after she left. My JESUS has shown Himself in so many different ways through this time of healing. I have been overwhelmed and so touched by the acts of kindness shown to me. Being single and self-employed, I have always shared with others that GOD is my Provider. He has provided for me more than I could have imagined. But, after all He is GOD, the creator. Of course He would!!! You ladies will never know how much your gift meant to me. You are being JESUS to others with this ministry. I pray that each one of you are blessed and highly favored. I pray that you are blessed a hundred fold for the blessing you so freely gave to me. Because I know you will take GOD's blessings and you will continue to do what He has called each of you to do. God gave me my ministry a few yrs. ago. "Beauty for Ashes" Is.61:3. It's a wonderful thing to encourage and lift someone up. Bless you ladies, A

A double gift...it was my birthday!

I would like to thank the 12 Ordinary Women for the gift they gave me today. I know I'm going to use part of it to pay some bills. Thank you very much. When they called me the other day i couldn't believe it because nobody has ever called to let me know they were giving me a gift. It was a double gift because yesterday was also my birthday. May God bless all of the wonderful women of this organization. I will pray that God will give 12 Ordinary Women more things for they can keep giving other people gifts. Thank you from my family and I. May God Bless ya !

Dear ladies of the Evansville, IN chapter

I wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the beautiful note and gift left at my door Wednesday evening. After a very challenging and physically draining physical therapy session for the MS I have suffered with for many years, I was not able to answer the door when these special ladies came by to see me. They had phoned and mentioned they wanted to see me and had something to give me. Even though I had never heard of 12 Ordinary Women, I explained that I was not able to get to the door and could they please just leave it for me.

Your timing could not have been more perfect. I was feeling completely exhausted and depressed that I was unable to do what I wanted that evening, which was to be with my husband supporting my son at his track meet. When my husband retrieved the envelope you had left for me, I cannot begin to express how your kindness uplifted my spirits! You truly touched my heart, and I am so very grateful for your thoughts and prayers! You are all blessings from God.

North Carolina Thank You!

I am so grateful. I have been sick for sometime now and it has been hard to keep working but I have. I am so blessed to receive such a wonderful flower, bracelet, and gift card. The medical bills have been overwhelming for our family. I plan to do our grocery shopping with the money. I will have my four hour IVIG infusion on Monday and will wear my bracelet to my appointment. I plan on wearing it to each monthly appointment. It is so peaceful to me now I have others praying for me. I know I will never be able to know who you all are but I want each of you to know that I will read your card when I feel overwhelmed. I will also have my husband plant the flower in the front so as I leave and come home I can be reminded of your love you have shared with me. It is so hard to be sick and have two children. I just want to be a good mom, wife, and employee, daughter to my parents. Words cannot explain what I feel in my heart for your kindness you have shown to me. Thank you
