Today I was truly blessed by 12 Ordinary Women. God works in mysterious ways. I am so humbled and grateful. Thank you for helping me to realize that hope is the answer and that all things are possible through God. My trust in Him has been made stronger through your caring. God saw I needed you and you know the rest. Thank you.

Yesterday, we were visited by a lady and a gentleman who claimed to be delivery persons from your wonderful group who brought literally tons of useful household items to our door. It was totally unexpected, so I was in shock at first, and after reading a letter which was given to me by a lady, I was just overwhelmed by the fact how thoughtful and compassionate some people could be to others. I sincerely wish from the bottom of my heart that I would be able to repay your kindness someday by helping others.

Wow what a pick me up when we received our wonderful gift basket. All of the notes from all of you were so uplifting. As I looked through the basket I was amazed at all of our favorite things in the basket. I cannot tell you how much you cheered us up! Thank you so much for thinking of us. I would love to join your group when Jessie is feeling better. You are truly angels on earth.

I have just been handed a lovely basket from a lady I don't believe I've ever met! I asked her who I could thank for the beautiful gift and she simply said, "From people who care". How extraordinary! The basket was full of my favorite things - wine, chocolate, coffee, Burt's Bees...many things, plus a large gift certificate for yummy food. And, a note from this group, 12 Ordinary Women. Such a gift.
I am deeply grateful for the women who minister in this generous way. My husband was diagnosed with ALS in 2012 and I care for him and love him as he follows the path of this fatal disease.
Receiving this thoughtful and generous gift is enormously uplifting and encourages me to continue in this most difficult walk. Thank you, ladies. Thank you so much. Thank you to whomever knew what my family was going through. I will - one day - repay this kindness by doing the same for another. I will know what it means to her.

I want to thank your group so much for the money gift you gave my family on 8/12/14. I do not remember the lady's name that came to my door Tuesday night, because I was so overwhelmed; but I definitely remember how special she made me feel. Your group really blessed my family.
I was so touched that someone that I did not know, took the time to hand deliver such a thoughtful gift to my family. It has been hard for me, over the last few months, to pick up the pieces and move on since my husband's death.
I try to be strong for my children, but so many times I feel like there is no one to be strong for me. I have feelings of helplessness and worthlessness, at times, because the "other half" that I shared life with for 32 years, is no longer here to help me sort out important details.
I ask that your group remember my family in your prayers; as I seek to trust God's will; and as I seek to obtain a job that will support my family.

It has been a few days since I was so incredibly blessed with your gift and am still trying to process how and why such an amazing and unexpected thing has happened to us. I get teary everytime I think or talk about it with friends and will continue to do so for a very long time. Words cannot even come close to conveying my gratitude. Your generosity has absolutely overwhelmed me. Some people think about being kind, others talk about being kind. But very few people like you actually do kind deeds. The impact of your kindness in mine and my kids life is nothing short of a miracle. As with every other single mom, my life has had many struggles but at the same time been filled with just as many and more blessings. My two awesome kids have been my greatest joy and my sole reason for being. Everything that I do is for them and your gift will allow me to provide for them more than I could have imagined. Kindness has always been the one quality that I have tried to exemplify with my kids. I am so proud of the choices they have made and who they are as a person today. I pray everyday that they will continue to live their life filled with grace and kindness for others. The fact that my daughter got to be a part of this experience and see the goodness that people can create for others is something that I am so very grateful to you for. Being on the receiving end of your kindness has made me feel so humble, I only hope that someday I can also be at the giving end of hope and goodness to others.
