I just cried and cried tears of joy and release, and my five year old daughter hugged her Dory pillow and blanket and was so excited. When the gift basket came, I was at work, but my daughter was with my mother who received the gift from the two friendly ladies. My little girl was so excited to give Mommy the special gift. How did they know just what my daughter and I needed? It's been a rough summer with a new baby coming in October and all the needs to get my daughter ready for kindergarten, and the July gift basket was a true blessing. The amount of money on the gift card was amazing, and the personal care gift card was wonderful. My daughter especially liked the books about kindergarten. Today was her first full day of school and the blessings from 12 Ordinary Women are still sweet in our hearts. Thank you, and thank you again. Layne
Minneapolis thank you!
Twenty four hours ago, I was given an envelope with the gift of beautiful words and some cash. I am still in “awe" and wondering how such a group of “ordinary women” knew of me. I am humbled and grateful for the generosity, yet am not sure why I am worthy of the recognition. I have had many trials over the past decade, but I believe anyone in my shoes would do what they could to keep things as “normal” as possible for their children, keep their head up high and move forward.
The gift came at such a wonderful time, for the week had been trying. I feel that God had worked in His way - sending angels (12 ordinary women) to me.
I will never forget yesterday and will keep the card close at hand- always. The words will give me hope that things will get better and to stay grounded, thankful and loving.
Whoever you are- know you have made such a difference in touching my life as you have. "Thank you" does not express what I have been feeling over the past day.
What a loving gesture and group of individuals. Warm thoughts and blessings to you and yours. Theresa
Your help and encouragement will continue to show me the way
Today, August 27, I anxiously awaited a visit from an anonymous woman who called me earlier in the week. I was reluctant to have her come to my house because she did not give me any information about who she was, or who put her up to this visit. She just told me 'It will be great."
A sweet woman with a big smile came to my door, asked if I was Theresa and proceeded to give me an envelope. I thanked her, wished her a wonderful day, and she was on her way.
When I opened up the card and read it, I was speechless. The heartfelt words and love that came through this words warmed my heart. The words were the greatest gift I have received. But in addition to the card was a generous amount of money. This was such an unnecessary gesture, but so appreciated.
I have been a single mom of three. Having full responsibility for them and working full-time has been challenging. There have been many trial over the course of the decade, but we have persevered and continue to do so.
Every night I say my “Gratitudes” for the blessing God puts in my life everyday. It has helped me stay positive. (Because there are days I do want to throw in the towel).
God blessed me again today for the angel(s) that thought of me and recognized what I believe most women would do for their families. I am humbled and truly believes that God works in mysterious ways. You are friends of the heart. I thank all of those involved on this “gift”. It will never be forgotten. You have made a difference. Your help and encouragement will continue to show me the way. Many blessings!
Faith & Hope strike again!
Thank you to Faith & Hope who delivered some love on Friday. Thank you to all that have been praying for my family. I wish I knew who you all were so I could give you a big hug and thank you in person, but I will receive it as God's special gift. I mentioned that if they ever have a spot available to be an ordinary woman I would love it! Thank you again for lifting my spirits, putting a smile on my face and happy tears running down my cheeks. Praying Gods blessing upon each of you.
Bloomington, MN Thank you.
I want to thank the group of ladies(and especially the two who came to my home) that gifted me with an amazing arrangement. My family and I have been going through some difficulties and sometimes it feels like we aren't getting anywhere. When I received a basket full of school supplies, treats, cash, gift cards and many more, I was astonished. Only God can make something like that possible so a big thank you to the women in my area (Bloomington, MN) who decided to give and also unknowingly give me a reminder of the amazing God we have in Heaven. May God bless you and allow you also receive. There is no words for how you touched my family and I. I really couldn't believe it when I got the call! The work you do is humbling and inspires me to also give when I am able. Again, thank you so much and may God bless you 12 (extra)ordinary women.
Winter Garden, FL Thank You
I was overwhelmed with joy to realize that 12 ordinary woman, that I don’t know, faithfully prayed for several months for my healing. God works in amazing ways!
I eat healthy & exercise but cancer doesn’t discriminate; I was a victim of breast cancer. After healing from my double mastectomy, I was tossed into another turmoil. My husband of 35 years tragically passed away at age 58. I found myself alone facing another surgery and mounds of legal & medical paperwork.
My prayer warriors, who call themselves 12 ordinary woman, gave me a gift with a scripture verse, Isaiah 38:2… a miracle, my favorite verse I memorized to help me through my difficulties: “When you go through deep water & great trouble, I will be with you…” The Lord was with me for every numb step I took. "He will give you the daily manna…Exodus 16. Remember to always be walking with Him. He will provide just what you need…day by day. I’m on a difficult lonely journey and it comes with a lot of crying, scars & struggles. But never once did I walk alone. During my journey, as my faith & trust increases, I hope others will see God’s glory shine and wonder how can this be? Abundant joyful life!
I cannot fight my battle alone nor does God want me to. Thanks to all of my family, friends and (even people that I don't know) for praying for me! Thank you for your overwhelming love, prayers and support.

Richfield, MN Thank You!
I live in Richfield, MN. I would love to thank the group that sent me a gift certificate for a time of solitude. My mom died a little over a month ago. I cared for her in our home for the months leading up to her death and have been overwhelmed with taking care things reguarding her since she passed. My way of recovering and re-energizing is to be alone, especially alone with The Lord. The gift of solitude is absolutely the most loving and perfect gift I could ever receive. I will get an extended time alone with The Lord! What could be more healing?! I am in tears as I write, so much so that I can hardly see the screen. May God bless you all ten fold for the love you have shown to me. Carol Oltman

Charlotte, NC Thank you
Thank You Message: Kudos to 12 ordinary women! What a delight to receive such a well stocked basket of goodies. The last eight months has been very stressful and challenging in every way for the Arnold family and then with the loss of my husband and my “best friend” in July was too much to bear. Your basket came at a time that was very helpful in cheering one up. Thanks to 12 Ordinary Women for being so thoughtful and kind in every way. I hope that I can become a part of such a wonderful and giving group. Thanks, Jennie
