I love my job and try to make all of my customers feel as if they are in my home. I have had many dear friendships with my clients over the years. So nice to know I make someone smile as they make me smile everyday.

No one taught me how to deal with losing a student

I am a fourth grade teacher in Spring Hill,TN. I recently loss a student due to complications from the flu. I have a bachelors, masters and other certifications that all prepared me to be the best teacher I can be. However, no one ever taught me how to deal with losing a student. I am so happy that before becoming a teacher, I became a Christian. My belief and my faith taught me how to trust God with everything. I know that he does not make any mistakes and he knows all. I truly love my students and I know my purpose in life is to work with children. I will continue to allow God to work through me and teach, guide and most of all love his children. Thank you 12 Ordinary Families for blessing me with such a thoughtful gift. I appreciate your thoughts, and prayers. I will enjoy spending some relaxing time at Moments Peace Spa this summer.

You simply turned my day around

as completely blown away this morning when two young ladies came to my classroom door and handed me an envelope and a piece of jewelry. It is not uncommon for companies to bring me product samples for fundraising projects and I assumed that what was I was receiving. But upon opening the envelope and reading the card and seeing the gift card inside, I learned that it was not at all what it seemed. I am going through a very difficult time right now, and it simply turned my day around to know that there are people out there that care and are kind enough to send love and positive thoughts to those who are hurting. I was not familiar with 12 Ordinary Women, but after learning about you, I would like to say that your organization and its members are definitely angels among us!

Thank you you just don't know how much it means

Words can not express the sincere emotion that I felt today. I was having a very tough day and out of nowhere a young woman came in and turned my day around. Whoever sent the lovely gifts to me I would like to say THANK YOU!!! You just don't know how much it means . I am very appreciative Of your kind words and gratitude. God Bless You

Thank you to the 12 Ordinary Women of Evansville Indiana Chapter...

Late this afternoon while setting my son up for his physical therapy session, the door bell rang. Expecting his therapist, I was completely thrown off guard by two attractive, well dressed women smiling brightly at me.
I initially thought I had forgotten an appointment but, quickly learned I was to receive a gift from women I don't know, from an organization that I had not heard of. A day at the spa!!!!
How delightful they were and what a wonderful end to a busy day.
After reading the story of this organization and page after page of blogs, I can't help but be amazed at the generosity and kindness they have given to so many. Not only here in our town but, all over the country.

Thank you to whoever you are. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated and I hope that I can "Pay It Forward"... What a terrific group you are!

It had been a particularly hard week...

Thank you for the beautiful gift!
Message: This morning three beautiful, smiling women showed up at my door. They did not tell me their names, but I could almost feel the warmth coming from them. They brought me a very special gift and a wonderful note. I had been having a particularly hard week. My amazing son Jason was killed last year, and it has been a long hard journey, which has seemed to have crash landed lately.
In the beginning there are people around you everywhere, and then slowly they fade off and need to get back to their lives, and eventually you feel as if everyone has forgotten him and you. You feel like the world thinks that you are ok now, and that your life is back to normal. As you learn to live your "new" normal, there are times that you feel that even God has forgotten you.
Knowing that he sent me these special angels at just the right time, lets me know that he hasn't forgotten me and neither have some very special people in this world. Thank you to the 12 ordinary women for answering God's call to send me a special lift. It did make me cry, tears of sadness and joy, but it was such a special gift from God's hands to yours, to mine.
Thank you so much, it will always be special to me.

It's a wonderful thing to encourage someone...

My heart overflows with emotion everytime I look at your card and the willow tree angel. I had not heard of this wonderful ministry before this past Sunday, that's when I received a call that someone was at my front door. She didn't give me her name, but she gave me such encouragement, she told me that you all were praying for me, she even shared tears with me. I know that I cried for at least 20 minutes after she left. My JESUS has shown Himself in so many different ways through this time of healing. I have been overwhelmed and so touched by the acts of kindness shown to me. Being single and self-employed, I have always shared with others that GOD is my Provider. He has provided for me more than I could have imagined. But, after all He is GOD, the creator. Of course He would!!! You ladies will never know how much your gift meant to me. You are being JESUS to others with this ministry. I pray that each one of you are blessed and highly favored. I pray that you are blessed a hundred fold for the blessing you so freely gave to me. Because I know you will take GOD's blessings and you will continue to do what He has called each of you to do. God gave me my ministry a few yrs. ago. "Beauty for Ashes" Is.61:3. A double gift...it was my birthday!

I would like to thank the 12 Ordinary Women for the gift they gave me today. I know I'm going to use part of it to pay some bills. Thank you very much. When they called me the other day i couldn't believe it because nobody has ever called to let me know they were giving me a gift. It was a double gift because yesterday was also my birthday. May God bless all of the wonderful women of this organization. I will pray that God will give 12 Ordinary Women more things for they can keep giving other people gifts.
