I feel supported.

Dear Women,

God's love is what I felt when handed the envelope from 12ordinary women.
I am so grateful to all of you for your generousity and prayers!  To say I was surprised somehow doesn't quite express
the range of emotion that filled my being!  I cried @ the beauty of how supported and loved by others, that I, was a recipient.

To say the money was needed would be an understatement, I had used the last of my cash the week before.
I have told many of your organization and how you surprised me, we all get tears. We are inspired.

I would have responded sooner but my computer died the week before and my son just sent me his old one.
God bless each and everyone of you!

Thank you all so much,

MDP

Upon opening, I sighed, smiled brightly

My Dear Sister/Women/Friends,

Today I was blessed with a visit from 5 angelic beings; 3 being under the age of 10, and their mothers.  We laughed,  talked, inquired, toured, hugged, and joyously shared our brief moments together. ( I believe that they came from the distant plantet of "Union Township ;-) !

And before these beings of light left my home this evening, they gifted me with yet another gift--in addition to their lovely presence.  Upon opening, I sighed, smiled brightly, and felt overwhelmed by the generosity of this group; beautiful music and gift cards.

And your Vision/Mission Statement is everything that I believe in twithin the depths of my heart.  What an auspicious occasion this is indeed !!!

Thank you, dear, beloved, friends, for your kindness, compassion, generosity, and most of all, your prayers.  I will continue to keep you in my daily prayers too !  May God continue to bless and keep you all in his loving care....

Peace, Love, Blessings,
MaryCatherine

from the bottom of my heart...

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The fact that someone thought enough of my family to help us in our time of need, means the world to me. I hope that one day I can be on the giving end of this generous and wonderful group of women.

There are not enough words to express what this means.

Thank you,

A S and Family

Gift from Heaven.

Dear 12 Ordinary Women,

You are so dear to my family. We will never forget how we felt the box sent to us seemed like a gift from heaven.  We could feel the emotion and heart felt efforts put forth in making each note touch the heart.  The boys were made to feel special with their packages and letters. We appreciate your sacrificial giving to our family.  The grief we are experiencing is helped so much by your love and prayers.  Again, thank you for the special package that you gave to my boys and me during the tragic loss of our  dear husband and dad.
You will always hold a special plays in our hearts,
Sincerely,
J C and sons

Grace delivers in Dallas

The other day my husband received a call from Grace with your Dallas organization and told us that an anonymous friend wanted to give us a gift. We were intrigued with the anonymity, to say the least, and were humbled by the thoughts behind the gift.

My husband had to go to chemo and so I met Grace by myself.  We received a gift of cash that was very much appreciated and will go to pay for an outstanding bill. Thank you so very much.

We remain in awe of 12 Ordinary Women.

12 OW visit a hospital in North Dallas

12 Ordinary Women from North Dallas, Tx.

Our family wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your hospital visit to meet our daughter Micaela and the very kind and thoughtful gift of help to our family. Micaela has completed her third round of chemo which was extremely hard on her and her body. Micaela spent twelve days in ICU following this round of chemo due to a heart problem which developed after the chemo most likely caused by a virus with her blood counts being so low. Micaela is back on the 6th floor again doing better and heart function improving, she also received postive results from her bone marrow aspiration as it was free from leukemia cells. She will need to repeat this test again in two weeks and when this test is free from leukemia cells again she can proceed to transplant. Please keep her in your prayers as she moves forward with treatment.

Thank you again for your kindness,
Sincerely,
The White Family

Pajamas in Etown

To the dear ones who sent me the beautiful wreath with gift cards, beautiful pajamas and other treats, many, many thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

I'd love to thank you personally and see whether I can help in your ministry.

From the woman being healed in Etown!

Caught in my curlers!

Ladies,

The horror and embarrassment of coming to my door in my blue fuzzy robe and huge velcro rollers is too much to describe.  I thought my babysitter had arrived early!  How wonderful was the surprise to be greeted by a precious woman and the cutest little boy ever bringing ME holiday gifts.  They were all so thoughtful and meaningful.  Being from North Carolina, I treasured the greenery basket that is brightening my bedroom.  The delicious pound cake is sure to add inches in unwanted places--but oh well!  It was worth it!!  I will enjoy telling the story of the bamboo necklace, its meaning and how I came to acquire it, when I wear it.  And the "Daily Light" devotional book will surely bring me words of strength and encouragement at just the right time.

I am not sure how I came to be on your list of women to visit, but please know how much I appreciate your time and thoughtfulness.  What a way to show Jesus' love through action.  Thank you so much.

Gratefully yours,

C T

Stunned!

Hi Ladies : )

Wow, I cannot thank you enough for my gift! I was right in the middle of work when I was handed my pink bag. I was really confused because it is definitely not my birthday and I didn't know why a complete stranger (with a beautiful smile!) was giving me a gift? As soon as I peeked at the card I just felt like crying. Actually, I think I uttered "oh my gosh" because I know the amazing things you women do and how much you help other women, and now I was the woman being helped. I had to wait until my break to find out what I had received and I must say I was so surprised to find out that I was (basically) holding 4 brand new tires in my hands!! I felt so overwhelmed with being thankful and feeling relief. I really just feel like crying as I'm typing this. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

Something I also want you to know is how stunned I am that you ladies chose me this month. I am amazed, humbled, and in awe. I didn't really consider myself to be worthy enough of all of your attention and help. It makes me feel so special and so loved. The card said "from women who care" and I want you to know just how much those 4 words meant to me while looking at my gift.

The act of giving is so powerful and I feel truly truly blessed to have received. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart : )
